IDW Nightmare Moon arc my way: Night-Dragon Spike

In addition to my Shadows of Giants fic, I have come up with an idea for an alternate take of the Nightmare Moon arc from IDW but, instead of Rarity, it's Spike who gets the Nightmare treatment, or rather Night-Dragon. In terms of story, it's similar but just replace Rarity with Spike.

would love to see a fan design for N-Spike, think he'd grow to full size or only to roughly alicorn size considering the 'Nightmare's' previous owner?

1533501 Actually, Night Spike is Spikezilla-sized as in he outright TOWERS over the Mane Six.
