I need an editor/pre-reader.
My previous one doesn't want to do it anymore (no hard feelings or anything, pony just isn't his thing now and that's fine), but he's left a hole that I would greatly like filled. I don't feel right soliciting requests from random pones on here, awesome as their work is (you know who you are), so I would prefer someone that wouldn't mind doing it for an extended amount of time. Being nitpicky as all fuck is also a prerequisite, since I tend to miss a lot and want to improve whenever and wherever I can. I don't need my ego stroked, so if you tell me "oh, that thing's perfect, send it in!" I'll just get worried about the things I might've missed. Liking TES is not a prerequisite but might help since chapters of that are probably going to be the majority of what you're editing.
Also if you do this I'll write you a oneshot with the subject matter of your choosing (no clop or glue thnx) and will happily edit for you in return.

We have many wonderful private reviewers in the #fic IRC channel on Canternet. Though seeing as it's 1AM, I would imagine that it isn't very active at the moment.
Yeah proofreading isn't really my thing. Solicit me all you want if you happen to be looking for more than proofreading, though.

(To be honest though, it's not the clop that's the problem, it's the request. Writing out what in all likelihood would amount to someone's sexual fantasy would make me feel icky. Maybe if it was OTW-style ridiculousness I would be okay with it but that's about it)

I haven't gotten around to TES yet (blame the 700+ to read list) But I'd be glad to help out. Just know that I'm much more focused on the way the story flows rather than punctuation.
