I'm pretty sure at least 90% of you reading this probably got directed to me via This fine gentleman and are probably well aware of what I am about to say and thus you have my permission to check out for the next paragraph.
For the remaining 10% or so of you still paying attention, Ariamaki is a guy you should be following anyway. He's on his way back from a hiatus and making a dedicated effort to put out some new content, and YOU THE READER are able to influence what gets written. If you're interested, check out his blog post on the subject and vote on what sort of fic you'd like to see. I vouch for and highly recommend his stuff, it's good, you won't regret it.

As for myself, next chapter is crawling along. Wanna get it just right, it's kind of a pivotal point in the story, so my pace currently resembles a glacier. Getting a bunch of other ideas lately doesn't help either; I've been severely tempted to do a number of other fics lately, including but not limited to a CMC story, a sequel to Purely Scientific Interest, and a couple of completely absurd and off the wall ideas that, strangely, both involve Vinyl Scratch. But I promised myself I'd finish HMSS first, so HMSS I will continue to write. After that's finished......we'll see.

I totally found you just 'cuz of the funny picture of Velvet messing with Night Light's head there. Saw that in the featured box the day you posted chapter one and started laughing.
Let this be a lesson to aspiring writers: Funny pictures are crowd getters. We can and will judge a book by its cover.

Yeah I'll second this... that's exactly how I re-found you except I was just browsing new clopfics not the features.
I say re-found because I first read Purely Scientific Interest due to a recommendation from Aurora, and it was the very first Sparity fic I read.
However it wasn't until HMSS that I started following you.
When you're ready don't forget to toss me a link for the latest chapter and I'll give it a look after I finish editing the last story in my queue.
If you find yourself really getting stuck on the next chapter of HMSS I don't think anyone would shed tears if you pushed out something else in the meantime to help break your block.
