I need your help! (Again!) - 8/17/13 · 6:27pm Aug 17th, 2013
Well, with my one year anniversary "celebration" out of the way, it's back to my main fanfic - Doing Science. And I'm a bit unclear as how to go about writing the next Act of chapters.
You see, during Act One, everything was told from the computer's point of view. Typically, Rainbow Dash would record herself making a status update for her job at Aperture Science and the chapter would be her speech. This formula changed some, but that's the basic gist of it.
From here on out, there are spoilers, so please do not continue reading this unless you have read up to the end of Act One in Doing Science.
Now that Rainbow Dash has become GLaDOS, I'm a bit unsure of where to take the story. I've considered writing it traditionally, detailing the Doctor's exploits through Aperture Science. I've also considered giving the Doctor a voice recorder to keep track of his life in Aperture. A sort of "Day one, yadda yadda yadda" thing. I feel like both ways would work well where I intend to take the story. However, the former would require a lot more work and dedication from me. Mind you, that's work and dedication that I don't mind giving to fans of the story. I just think that chapters might take longer to come out, is all. I could even do both - one chapter for the recording, one of the Doctor running about, and so on. So I'm having trouble deciding. That's where you come in. Do any of you have a preference? If so, comment below and let me know.
Thanks for your time and support, and have a nice day!

I think you should continue with the recording sessions, though I wouldn't mind if you went for a traditional approach.
1291531Okay, thanks. I was already leaning towards the recording motif, and this seals the deal, as it were. Thanks!I might sprinkle in a traditional chapter here and there, though, just to try my hand at it.
