First-World Moral Quandary

I have a netiquette question, and so I turn to the court of public opinion:

Is it wrong to make a TV Tropes article for your own fanfiction? I'm not sure whether the protocol is to quietly start the thing yourself or let it arise organically from the efforts of fans with too much time on their hands.

All opinions are welcome. I'm not planning on acting on this any time soon.

(Also, my spellchecker recognizes "netiquette" as a word. I find this vaguely amusing.)

Hahaha, no. I think that's a great idea!

Spellcheck is definitely amusing. It's so fussy and hard to please that when you do spell the occasional word RIGHT, you laugh.
