Yep, that happened. Now I'm going to rant about it.
I never seen a show that look so...uh...how to say it?...umm....good and bad, I suppuse.
I love the colors and the quality of the images, which is great if this were a comic book. HaTAoS is an animated show that fails in the animation part! I don't want to say it sucks but this show dares me to do it. I know is common place for shows to re-use animation from time to time, especially those in a tight budget or if there is limitations with the program they use to animate. But this is a Marvel production backed up by DISNEY, so tight budget shouldn't be a problem, and I doubt this show was made in flash, so there is no excuse for the reusing of same models that barely move around or even open their lips!
Seriously, they use an unmoving face and then they put black bars over the mouth to simulate a close up, but in reality they do so to not animate their frikin lips! Which wouldn't be a problem if they did it sparely, but no, the are constantly making close-up to not animate the bodies! GRRRHH! So infuriating!
So the animation is bogus, but I have seen shows with limited animation that were somewhat decent because of the story and the characters!
But this show fails in that area too. There was been only two episodes so far so i'm not going to critisize the story. What I am going to critisize is the way the story is conveyed. Why does it have to be in the style of a reality TV show! I watch cartoons to escape from that crap! And now they are making cartoons that simulate reality tv!
I'm not saying that kind of "style" can't work, I loved TDI, but that was a cartoon ABOUT a reality tv show, not a show about a SUPERHERO in the style of a reality tv show! Entire action sequences come to a halt just to have the character comment on the action that is taking place. SHOW US DON'T TELL US! (though I do commit that sin with my writing, I'm still a novice) In TDI those cuts worked because then they could make a quick joke, it was somewhat hit or miss; In HaTAoS they don't even attempt at clever writing, most of the jokes (cutaway or note) fall flat. UGHH!
The characters....oh dear god what have they done to The Hulk!
Hulk, the complex character, mirroring the classic trope of Mr. Jeklyll and Mr. Hyde, the man who struggles to control himself, to control his anger incheck in order to maintain a semblance of humanity and not become a monster that everybody thinks he is. Hulk the strongest there is but also one of the loneleliest, has become the straight man for a disfunctional family of cliche reality tv characters.
Red hulk "The Uncle" character who constatly tries to mess around and insult the straight man, hulk, all the time. He is the "bad/rough" man who is obsessed with guns, yadda, yadda.
Rick Johns "The Lil bro" the guy who think is hip and cool, the guy with the ideas, and is constantly adoring Hulk. Yeah, he isn't annoying or obnoxious! (read: sarcasm)
Skaar, there hasn't been much of him but I'm assuming his going to the the "Dumb son" who doesn't know how to fit in.
She-Hulk, oh dear She-Hulk, the smexy woman with brain and muscles! She may have green skin but she pull it off so well, it makes me wish there were green skinned girls in RL. But here She-Hulk is basically "The girl" in the group. That's all. Again she hasn't had much screen time to warrant such statement, but I have no faith in this show to portray her as anything else but a cliche and a bunch of tropes.
And why the hell she is a stun-double! She is a lawyer! GOD! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!!!
I better stop myself, or I'll break something.
So in conclusion. This show is bad and I don't see it getting better with time. If you watch it and enjoy it, more power to you, but fore me, it is a sad reminder that we can have a HULK show without making it dumb.

I don't know what his backstory is going to be, the only thing we know is that he's from another dimension, BULLCRAP. He is Hulk's son!
I know his backstory from the comics is too dark for a kids show, but god! Can't you write him in in a more clever way?

I mostly follow Deadpool comics now. Too short on money to aford other comics.

Yes, I did read those issues, and know about Hulk's wife. I know that the planet was destroyed/blown up and that caused hulk to swear revenge on earth and started the world war hulk event. I didn't read WWH but I'm awere of the events that took place.
