Welp been a while for sure.
So this is a blog post just to update on things. First off I should be working on stories again by the end of the month hopefully. This summer just has been planning and thinking about the future, as in if I should go back to school (graduate school) or wait a year. So my mind was occupied to say the least. Well made up my mind and going, so I am moving there very soon. So once school starts and I get settled in, hopefully I can work on stories again when I have free time. I know I have been gone for a while. But I have been thinking on where to go with each of the projects I am working on.
In other news....
I got this BADASS cover art for the story "Under the Sun's Wings" by the very talented and generous Conicer. So if you want go praise and worship him.
Can't tell you how much I enjoy this picture. It captures exactly what I wanted. Doesn't Solaris look like a total BA? I would be both frightened and in awe if I were in Honeycomb's position. Who wouldn't?
It looks very cool, no doubt about that, but that totally looks like Celestia. Unless the artist went with their own version of Solaris that isn't reminiscent of Leonidas.

Conicer did exactly what I asked. In this version, Solaris is still similar in appearance to Celestia. The differences is that first he is a male, instead of rainbow mane it is more fire/blaze looking, and that he is larger. I seen other version of male Celestia, but I like this look the best. It is still similar but also very cool looking. Here Solaris looks very intimidating, which is exactly what I wanted. LIKE THE SUN ON FIRE! (which it already is lol)
This is wonderful news Foxy!! I am glad to hear that you will be writing once again.
Best of luck with grad school! I have been told that the first semester (year) is the hardest and so if you feel yourself getting frustrated or down about school work, just stick with it and keep pushing through. You'll make it!
And even though I have yet to read that story, awesome pic! Conicer did a really great job on that pic!

Thanks! I have no idea what school work is going to be like. I am only take two classes, but I am also doing research and a TA spot. One of the classes I already took my senior year in college. So I have no idea. I mean the school offered me such a good deal, I just had to accept. Even though I have no idea what the school or classes are like. But I just can't pass the offer.
Hopefully while I am in my TA office I can be working on this. XDXD

As for update, I don't know. It really depends on when I get settled in and when I have time. Other than that I don't know. I am thinking about where to go, as I am making changes in head. So for update, don't know.

Well as I said, the description on DA is not correct. Don't know when Conicer is going to change it. However, you are somewhat close to what I was the story is about. It is not a comedy though, more of a serious one. Though do hope you stay and try it out.
