So I know my last post said I would tell you all about the convention after I got back, but a month after I get back still counts right? Actually the reason I didn't make any posts after Everfree NW was because I still had 4 weeks left working my sh*t job that took up all my free time. Despite this here is a run down of my trio to Seattle and what's been happening since.
Fig 1. First off, Everfree was a BLAST!
So my girlfriend and I get into SEA real late on 4/7. We check into our hotel and think about going somewhere to see the fireworks but it's already been a long day and we've got a lot planned so we hit the hay. Friday morning we have breakfast at the hotel's attached tea house (which was awesome) then hike on out to Pike Place market to see the guys throw the fish. A brief tour around there and a quick stop for another bite to eat and we catch the LINK rail to the con. BTW SEA could really learn something from PDX, the public transit they've got up there is more twisted than a bag of pretzels.

After standing in lie for registration for literally two and a half hours, we curse the vendors hall and I blow $165 on the cutest little custom Cheerilee plushie you have ever seen. Seriously, she's sofa-king adorable! I hit up a few fanfic writing panels then we left before it got very late. We headed back to downtown then hiked up the science center and got tickets to go up the space needle for the following night. Then we found a really kick-ass artisan pizza joint that, by the grace of Celestia, had just tapped the barrels of a house made sour cheery saison ale aged in chardonnay casks. The pizza was great, the beer was to die for!

So then it's getting late and he head to the IMAX theater they've up there and watch Man of Steel in IMAX and 3D. It blew my mind. I've never really like Superman, bit this movie made me seriously reconsider. Then we took a late night bus back to our hotel and I was asleep before my face hit the pillow.
Saturday we get up and head straight to the con. I when to a few more panels then we got in to see the VAs and get autographs. I got a Fluttershy brushie doll singed by Andrea Libman her self! It's so cool! we hung out at the hotel some to cool off, got some more pony swag including an alicorn Twi shirt, and met a guy form Brony Aerospace.
Fig 4. Brony Aerospace, a reall company that is really cool!
After that we cruised around the con some more and on our way out I met Seattle_Lite in the flesh! We hit it off on the Link train back to downtown and he agreed to help me edit 'What Might Have Been'! I've actually been working with him and a friend of his with fixing up the prologue so you might want to check out some of the changes! I hope that soon I can have a similar treatment done to all the chapters but that will take some time. Anyway, my girlfriend and I then went up to the Space Needle and took pictures from the observation deck. Being a weekend, the place was packed but it was cool anyway.

When we were finally done there it was coming up on 1:00 am so we trucked ourselves back to the hotel and called it a night. the next morning we had tea at the tea house then caught an early train back home. All in all I had a pretty rad time!
Since then I've been working with Seattle_Lite on the story and just a week ago I quit my sh*t job! WOO! now that i actuall have free time I can tell you all that I have gotten more writing done in the last three days than I have in the last three months. In fact, I kinda have the next chapter all hammered out and ready for editing. However I won't be posting it for about a fortnight because tomorrow my dad is taking me down to Mexico to go fishing for dorado!
Fig 6. Aw Yeah!
I won't be getting back until late on the 21st and I don't expect to be updating anything while I'm down there. However I will be posting the next chapter very soon after that, so sit tight and keep your eyes open for it.
Well, that's about all the news with me that's fit to print! I'll let you all know how dorado fishing goes when I get back and until then...
Stay pony my friends!
Peace!
