Bronycon in a nutshell · 7:24pm Aug 7th, 2013
But really, it was very fun. I arrived on friday afternoon and got my badge. It was nice seeing the baltamore convention center again. The last time I was there was for Otacon back in 04 with my brother. this time I was staying at the days inn just across the street from the con. So it was a short walk to and from the hotel and con. There was never a dull moment at the con. I always had something to do. From panels to bronypalooza, drawing in quills and sofas, even just sitting in the av room watching pmv's it was lots of fun. On saturday I went to the TCB panel that Noble cause and Fang presented. It was very pleasant and other than one person, who looked like they were going to start something, most were nice with their questions in the end.
I think on Saturday I went with noble and fang and draco, I cant remember everypony else's names, (Sorry!) to this irish place to eat for dinner. At first we were going to another restaurant but the wait time was very long so we went there instead. The food and view was really nice! it was looking over the harbor on the second floor. We had a great time there, I remember running into Wander D there and asked where we were sitting. So then he and his friends sat near us. The next table over were a lot of military bronies as well! They looked really happy, singing tunes and stuff.
On Sunday I decided to get some last second purchases in. I bought a DJ Pon-3 wall scroll and t-shirt, a Rainbow Dash Tie, and picked up my sketch from Nanook in the vendor hall. There was a lot of people I ran into that I didn't expect. At closing ceremonies they introduced a surprise guest. It was the singer for the original MLP Generation 1 theme song. She then sung it live for everyone there.
I left Monday morning for my flight back, I can safely say I had a great experience.
