    So, season six has been (in my opinion), pretty uneven. Maybe even weak. It's not bad. It just feels trope-y and uninspired. Dare I say it's losing steam?     I may, in fact, be going insane.

    So I spent half of the day being a lumberjack - and that's OK. Well as I'm unwinding for the night and hop in the shower I hear something as clear as day. It's the entire "May the Best Pet Win" number from the episode of the same name. Seriously. The whole song. I assume I'm hearing it because it's on in the next room where Trixie is toddling around.

I'm trying to get my Equestrian History straight. I've got a story brewing involving Celestia, Luna, Starswirl the Bearded, Clover the Clever, Discord, Nightmare Moon and possibly King Sombra and the Crystal Empire. I haven't been this hard up to balance history and canon since I got into Lord of the Rings.

I'm thinking I need to go the Twilight Sparkle route and make a checklist.
