Tranquility: the Spirit of Harmony - A.K.A Discord's Older Brother · 6:17am Aug 1st, 2013
Okay, so this is another story that I've gotten semi-complete. It's just such a complicated, promising tale that I don't dare post anything without seriously reviewing nor detailing my work though. Either way, if you can, let me know what you think of this.
It's called "MLP: Brotherly Love" where the reality jumping Spirit of Harmony or summoner of the Elements of Harmony - the fabled White Stag named "Tranquility" or "Tranquil" for short - along with his human apprentice drop into Equestria, at Celestia's call, to check up on how Discord is doing being locked in stone. Has the master of jokes learned his lesson in not going too far with his chaos? Well, shockingly, Tranquil finds his little brother freed and actually reformed for the most part by Fluttershy. However, as the disinterested Spirit of Harmony - literally, the goddess of the sun's longest time crush - looks to depart back to the human world to try to keep it in order, fretting Celestia, with Discord's help, gets the White Stag to stick around to begin teaching Twilight on what to expect in the future as an immortal alicorn. In truth though, the keeper of the sun is determined in catching the eye along with heart of the elusive Spirit of Harmony once and for all. There's one problem... The Spirit of Disharmony has always secretly liked her in the background.
As Twilight begins her studies with Tranquil and his human fellow, she soon finds herself involuntarily in the middle of a love triangle between deities. The goddess of the sun wants the White Stag. The lord of chaos wants the goddess of the sun. The White Stag wants... well, having been on the road his entire existence, he doesn't know what he wants. Eventually, all three turn to the Element of Magic for her help and, boy, all she can do is do what she's always done best: help her friends out of a chaotically tight spot. Even if they happen to be immortals.
