    So, I was wondering....

Gearing up to start a new writing run, but I plan to do better this time. Of course, to do so, it would help to have proof readers and/or editors, if even just one. I have no idea how to even approach someone about that, who to approach, or what to expect for a time frame. Having said that, if anyone's willing to point me in the right direction, let me know! I want to improve on my work, but

    Would like an opinion

Seeing as I'm a chapter away from wrapping up Stolen Memories, I'm anxious to find out something. Given that I generate stories and ideas at a phenomenal rate, and I'm looking to sharpen my writing skills on my next story (I.E., more attention to the show and tell aspects I have trouble with now), I wanted to get an opinion of direction. At least I learned something!

In hindsight, I'm really starting to notice my own flawed writing. More specifically, the show and tell aspect I've seen mention of. I definitely have a weakness for telling and not showing, and I think it stems from a hurried state of mind. I need to work on that. >.> Going forward, I'm trying to improve the behavior and take more time in my work. We'll see if I can actually show any

    And the award goes tooo...

Just thought I'd take a moment to thank everyone out there for their likes, watches, and faves! Between work and my incessant typing (not to mention being the cook at home and having a three year old daughter), I often overlook the time taken to individually thank you folks. Just so we're clear on this, I really, REALLY appreciate it! I gave up writing stories years ago, almost a decade

    Wheels are a'turnin!

Well, so far so good! It seems my first story was fairly well received, if not a 'stellar' performer, but I am flattered and impressed at the likes it has garnered so far! I also think I've determined my weakest link in writing; I get so excited to get to my favorite parts in a story that I move pretty quickly to get it out there, and it's not as sharpened or refined as I might be able to

We'll see if I can actually show any improvement, but to that end, I've been appreciative to all who have seen my work thusfar. Good or bad, it's nice to just have it read for once, such being the only reason to write in the first place! Thank you all for that. ^_^
