As the title puts plainly, I am back from my trip. Yes, yes, I know I said it would be two years. Hold up a half moment and listen.
I said I was going to be gone two years, however my body had other plans. Other plans included some severe mental disorders to the point that I was no long able to function and became a danger to self and others. I got home about a week ago and have been taking things slowly - hence the delayed announcement.
Now with that out of the way, on to business. I just finished reading all of the comments on that Alicorn story thing that so many people seemed to enjoy. I am pleased to see lots of support and lots more constructive criticism. I also noticed a large number of 'make a sequel' comments. More on that later.
As I said, I will be taking things slowly. I am undergoing treatment, preparing to head back out, and gradually adjusting to regular life again. I also have the latter half of season three to catch up on. It is my goal to stick 'find a job' in there somewhere.
Back to that sequel thing. I will NOT be writing a sequel. I will, however, be easing myself back into writing over the next month or so. I plan to end with a COMPLETE REMAKE of the story. I am thinking somewhere around 10-15 times longer with far greater detail, explanations, and most importantly no horrible cliffhanger endings. That's right! I've got the conclusion in mind and the plot continues after Twilight's decision. In fact, the post-decision story will be far larger than the build up.
When can you expect this monstrosity to hit the web? Well that depends on a couple factors. First and foremost will be my health. I cannot write (and will not write) when I am under the effects of my condition and/or medication. Next will be based on my schooling schedule and when (if) I head back out to finish my two years. If I can get better I will be going back out at the turn of the year. My plans are to done with this far before then.
