Do you know how long the story is going to be featured? Weeks probably, taking up a spot that is best reserved for clopfics or one-shots. I don't really hate the story, but I just don't get how the hell it's become so damn popular. All he did was change a few characters, implements a few others, and he became pretty much the most loved person in the fandom...
Whatever. I don't know why I made this post.

I take it you either haven't read the whole story or haven't played Fallout. As a person who has both played every single Fallout game (even Brotherhood of Steel. Ugh.), and read Fo:E, I can say that Fo:E is an original work of art, taking only the concept, and referencing Fallout, but with fresh, original characters and plot, and dialogue. It is so popular because it's incredibly good, and people like it.

All year long, I'm working, travelling between countries, conducting difficult negotiations. I get tired, and I read stories. Fo:E is the kind of story that I like most, and I'm defending it because I can, and because I have a vacation. Iam used to dialogue between people.

Meh, just means I don't have to find this thing elsewhere that isn't a shitty doc site or shitty pony fiction site. This one is phenomenally better than PFA, where I originally found it.
Also, the story is fucking superb, so do expect it to be featured for a while. Though I think the admins will eventually make a sort of section on the main page for stories that are "The best" on the site, and the feature to be just new stories that get upvoted often.
