Watch Trixie run a band... Right into the ground perhaps.
But first, I need a band for her... Care to help me think of some people? While you think, you can submit comments and favorite the story. Really. You can! It's a marval of electronics! You can do all these things AT THE SAME TIME! So... Do it.

Since the Mane6, CMC and Flashs band are rivals I would go with:
Guitar - Trixie (as if the GaPT would let someone else be the lead guitar)
Bass-Guitar - Lyra (familiar with string-instruments, Bon-Bon)
Technician - Vinyl (Trixie promisis to help her with pyrotechnics for her DJing) and Trixie (Pyrotecnics)
Piano - Octavia (Vinyl)
Drums - Gilda (not from the scool, joins to get beck at RD)
Vocal(s) - Bon-Bon (Mare of the 1000 voices, joins because of friendship with LOV) and Trixiw (Vocals get much attainsion)
In ( ) are my thoughts why they might join even after Trixi burnt down all bridges like Fluttershy said.

I'm going to assume that the main five(Twilight and Spike are in another town, IIRC) are all in Fluttershy's group, so they're out. Sunset is probably now attached to them as well.
CMC is probably the "three little rugrats", so they're out.
Not totally sure on Flash's group, but I'll assume it's largely comprised of the meathead bullies, Big Mac, and other background stallions we've seen.
If Trixie's getting a band together, you know Snips and Snails would be first in line to join up. Snails seems like a keyboardist to me, and Snips would be on drums.
Lyra Heartstrings seems to be a fit for bass guitar, what with the link to stringed instruments already in place.
Meadow Song has a guitar for a cutie mark. Lead guitar seems to be a natural fit for him.
Trixie would be the vocalist. Vocalist is the focal point/diva, and I can't see Trixie letting anyone else take that spotlight. However, Vinyl Scratch might demand to be vocalist if Trixie tries to get her to join, depending on just how badly that bridge was burned. However, her affinity for the electronics would also give her the tech's spot easily enough, but Trixie should know a thing or two about how to set up a show herself with her stage abilities, so Trixie and Vinyl seem to be the best fit for either of the two spots.
I knew I wasn't thinking of something last time around. They kind of need a songwriter. If Vinyl is in place, she'd probably be a good choice for that. If you want a bit more of a blank slate, Noteworthy would probably fit even better.
Of course, there are a few places that can pull double duty, depending on the skill level of the individuals, so you don't have to fill every spot, but those would be my initial choices.
Look, you can't have the CMC OR Flash Sentry's crew in the band. Trixie needs to have bands to go up against.
And lose to.
No, we need to pull from the others:
Guitar - Lyra (guitar looks entirely like a lyre)
Bass-Guitar - Octavia (Only in it because her crazy roomie, Vinyl, dragged her there and considers the whole thing beneath her)
Technician - Vinyl Scratch, obviously (for complete shits and giggles)
Piano - Trixie (not a straight piano, that's not flashy enough, electric keyboard, she wanted guitar, but Lyra trounced her in dueling
banjoguitars)Drums - Derpy (each eye follows each drumstick independantly)
Vocal(s) - Bon Bon (She's got a ton of different voices she can sing with, plus she's dating Lyra)
this also has the benefit that 2/3rds of the band is potentially dating each other. High School Dating, with all the tedious drama that will completely destroy any chances of the band's survival.

Also, if band names can be suggested, then the GPT Brigade (That's the "Spreading Good music all over the Planet with the Great & Powerful Trixie... Brigade".)
EDIT: Also, I forgot drums. That would be Caramel.

1219703 Pinkie has a throwaway line in the movie about the the Twilight of that universe living in the city, I figured you would have her transfer in, Flash would think its the Twilight he knew (good old drama there) Spike could be her adopted little brother.
I have no idea for band members due to Monk having a great idea, but I have a small army of band names if you need them.

Bass-Guitar: Raindrops, because she doesn't get enough love. Preferably with something resembling her Lunaverse personality; blunt & to the point, keeps Trixie's head from getting too huge, and overall supports the rest of the band if for no other reason than 'they're a band'. Also anger-issues add flavor to stories.
Technician: Vinyl Scratch is a given...but she might also refuse, so Snips and Snails could get this job to help Trixie however they can.
Piano: Lyra or Octavia, due either to classical skill on Octavia's part or finger-obsession on Lyra's.
Drums: Carrot Top (Rivals with Applejack, so takes the same position in Trixie's band that AJ has in the Mane 6's), Snowflake McHugelarge (YEAH), or BonBon if Lyra's on piano, out of support for her marefriend.
Vocal(s): Trixie, obviously, as singers get center-stage and are usually who most think of first when thinking about a band.
I like Monk With No Name idea but Sound exchange Flash for Trixie. I mean she need to be somewhere in the band. And like said in my post she would not give leader position aka lead guitar to anypony... I mean anybody, in my opinion.
Lightning Dust should be lead guitarist. Not sure who else would go where
