*Cue Maniacal laughter*
There we go. All better. Now, last blog post I suggested doing a Q&A session, which met with positive response, and at the same time a number of questions have started popping up in the comments. So, I'm holding my first Q&A session.
So, the rules: ask as many questions as you like in the comments here. About Rise, The Dusk Guard, or otherwise. I'll answer those of my choosing. If I don't answer a question, well, it's probably spoilerish or something similar. Question asking opens today, and closes this Sunday at midnight. I'll try to get a blog post with my answers up by the time the next chapter update for Rise hits on Tuesday!

Will "Rise" be the only installment of the dusk guard, and if not, how many will there be?
Your characters are very lifelike and I feel, quite realistic. Any hints or pointers for developing my own? What would you say is the most important thing to keep in mind when writing in general?

About how long does each chapter take you to write? From rough draft to final product.

Do you have any plans for the mane 6 to play a role or cameo in any upcoming chapters? For example, I could see Rarity becoming involved in some manner, thanks to her gem-finding spell.
Can we get some background on sapphire?

Will the Dusk Guard ever get additional members beyond the, ahem, Original Six? I really think that giving them a ranged combat specialist, ie. some form of sniper, would be a good idea.
