For a huge chunk of the world, April 1st is known as April Fools Day.
For me, it was the birth date of a great-grandmother who lived to be one hundred and five.
My Mimi was born April 1st, 1897. No, this is not a joke, she was born in 1897.
Strong french woman who lived through three centuries, never drove a car walked only, enjoyed her wine and chocolate.
And who could dance a mean Jitterbug at the age of 100. ;)
A fond remembrance to her I shall always have.
