Brawny Buck of Canterlot's Whacky Misadventures

So it took nearly two months of trying after relatively steady releases but I've finally got out a new chapter to Dreamquestria.
I was taken up an awful lot by things that are not FiMfiction related. So at least it's not from my being lazy. I put in a lot of hard work so I could go to a couple of conventions.

I started with a local one called the Grand Brony Gala. It's size was more like a mega meetup but it ran more like a convention. It was my first convention ever and I simply had no idea what to do with myself. So I defaulted to professional photographer mode. Here is the result:

Then there was Everfree Northwest. That was plain awesome. There are almost no words. I met up with a couple of my fellow reviewers. I conversed with some of my favorite musicians. I got pictures with a couple of my favorite podcasters, ACRacebest and Solrac. The Ponystock concerts were awesome. I was able to sit myself back and enjoy the convention sans-DSLR, at least a little bit. And then went doubly camera ballistic at the concerts.

I was also bound and determined to get my first animated dramatic reading done before these conventions. When I wasn't at work, I was picking away at this like nobody's business. I think it came out relatively well given the limitations I have with not only technology but also editing ability. I ended up having to teach myself a lot about video and audio editing. Here's the result of that:

Then Equestria Girls came out in my area. I was quite nervous about it given that most people seemed to be liking it. Since season 3, I had been experiencing a pattern where I love everything that most other people hate (King Sombra, most of season 3) and then everyone loves everything that I hate (Magical Mystery Cure). But I went with the local meetup group and I'm glad to say I liked it a lot more than I thought I would.

Just to make sure I wasn't watching the movie with "theater goggles", I watched a camera rip of it when I got home and had all the same issues with it that I did in the theater, but still enjoyed it just as much. Hopefully I'll get a review of it on my channel sometime soon.

So then at long last, with all that behind me, I could finally focus on getting the next chapter out. Once everything else was done, I uploaded it. Then suddenly this happened:

Can't say I saw that coming at all. But now I'm almost certain that the content of the feature box is selected randomly. I did not think I had enough viewership for that. It is a pleasant surprise though. Maybe my readership will go up? I don't know. But maybe now I should make more attempts to fix that cruddy description I have for it.
