    Frustration vs. Patience

Well, it's been months since my last chapter. Sorry folks. Between Writers Block and some very pernicious and unpleasant health problems I don't see the circumstances changing anytime soon. I am still working on this, with every intent to finish it...if nothing else I want to see how it turns out, as I'm letting the story lead me at this point. Oh, I have some ideas about where it's going,

    The Cliff Ender That Wasn't

After reading my latest chapter to Chatoyance aloud both she and I were unhappy with the way I ended it. Her suggestions and advice have got wheels turning in my noggin', and I hope to have an editorial addendum to "Battlestations" if all goes well. I hadn't meant to leave things hanging, and to do so in an uninteresting and non-suspenseful way at that. Just the mark of my lack of

The Second Chapter - Writer's Block

I've always said that I can tell when I'm challenging myself to something really important in my life - it's when I'm feeling terrified. That's how I feel about this story. I know with my intellect that there's nothing to be scared of - it's just that I've tried and failed in the past to write anything longer than a poem. The response to my first chapter was encouraging and kind, thank you.

    A Plea To Hasbro, Inc.

    My fellow Bronies,

I have taken the time to write a letter to Hasbro, in regards to there being so few quality collectable products available on the commercial market. If you feel the way I do, I ask you to take a moment, and do the same. Maybe if we inundate the Marketing Department with these, we might get something worth while before the "trend" has passed us by.

A Plea To Hasbro, Inc. · 12:14am Apr 2nd, 2012

Here is a copy of the letter, including who to address it to, feel free to use some or all of it for yours, if you wish. Thank You. Aedina AKA Eldenath

Mr. John A. Frascotti
Global Chief Marketing Officer
Hasbro, Inc.
P.O. Box 495
Pawtucket, Rhode Island 02860

Dear Mr. Frascotti:

As a life-time customer of Hasbro, Inc. I would like to bring to your attention an opportunity your company has so far ceased to utilize. The current My Little Pony,
Friendship Is Magic cartoons being run on the air have generated an audience of thousands that are being ignored. It is as if Hasbro doesn't wish to recognize their existence because their age and/or gender do not match the show's projected “Target” audience.

There are adults who are in love with the characters and world of Equestria. So much so, that custom models, toys, stuffed animals, and all manner of merchandise is being made by them, sold by them, and begged for by them, in droves, simply because Hasbro hasn't realized that “kids of all ages” might wish to collect this merchandise.

Figures of Princess Celestia, which are sold in pink are being converted to white in order to match the cartoon character. Hand crafted ponies of all shapes and kinds sell for hundreds of dollars on Ebay.

If I could make a music box with Fluttershy and Angel, that played Fluttershy's Lullabye (just as an example) I would – or I'd be happy to pay some very serious $ to obtain one.

Please reconsider Hasbro's current attitude towards this unique window of opportunity.

Thank You,

It's about time, more like well passed. The writer's block and lack of inspiration/energy seems to finally have lifted. I'm keeping my hooves crossed that this is just the beginning of the return of flow. With that said, I've finally published

So Below

. I'm puzzling out the right title for the next chapter and feel it pawing at the ground to get written. That's a good sign. Yeah!
