Telling Stories: A Brief Birthday Contemplation · 5:48am Jul 16th, 2013
This is the second birthday I'll be celebrating under the name, "TheBandBrony."
It's been a ride, hasn't it? I've been married and re-married and sexed by various internet personalities. I've become a little brother to an idol, and a big brother to a fan. I took to taking Regidar's musical advise and cried with him over Hospice. I met a wonderful new friend in the form of FattyMaGee1 (and convinced him to help carry my drums around, +1 Roadie), I'm going to meet Josh (psp7master) this August, and hopefully Preto Mal and Acreu and Ferret soon after, once I get super rich and also famous enough to afford travel north. I told a stranger in a mall he had a nice Derpy belt, then laughed with him when he told me he preferred calling her Ditzy. I asked my sister to make a Fluttershy-colored bracelet, then wore it. I watched the sun set as I was typing one evening a few weeks ago and smiled when two peach-colored clouds collided and spilled sticky magenta all over the horizon.
All this from telling stories.
Stories change lives. All the greater do they change those who write them.
Another year older.
And I still can't buy a Goddamned stick of gum from the liquor store down the street.
