Concerning a story

Or, more specifically, Ponyvillian Holiday.

You may notice that it has disappeared (or will in a matter of minutes, since I'm doing the blog first). Don't worry! I'm not deleting it! I'm simply unpublishing it so I can rewrite it from scratch. I'll change the plot somewhat and update the "Twilight is an alicorn" plot point. I also expect the chapters to be a fair bit longer, and the story as a whole to be better (at least from my perspective); however, it also means that updates won't come very frequently (Well, it hasn't updated for months anyway, but it'll be slower than, say, Love is Confusing was.

I may even change the name! I'm not sure. The current title is, of course, a reference to the classic film Roman Holiday, in which a young princess (played by Audrey Hepburn) escapes her royal entourage and spends a day incognito in Rome with Gregory Peck. You can see why I would reference it, but I feel like my title doesn't roll off the tongue as well. I'll have to think about it. (Besides, there's no pony version of Gregory Peck, so until I see one -Get to work, OC makers!- the best Celestia's got would be Applejack, Rainbow Dash, or Tom the rock.)

So, that's the current plan of action. Will it work? Who knows! I hope so, though. Once I've finished it (or at least settled into a good pace), I'll restart Out of His League, and maybe do a few mid-length non-adventure shipfics, something I've never really tried before. We shall see.
