My Gender

So it was recently pointed out to me that many people here on the site believe me to be a teenage girl. While flattered, I must reveal to you all my true gender: I am a guy. KRAK-A-THOOM!!!

This isn't the first time I've been mistaken for a girl. I've often noticed when playing World of Warcraft, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and other MMOs like Rift, Guild Wars 2, and Tera, that my guildmates are often under the impression that I am female. While this might be chalked up to my tendency to play female characters, there are plenty of guys who do so and everyone seems to tell straight away that the players are, in fact, men. So why do I come across as girly? I have no idea, but one fact is to be certain: I find it. Absolutely. HILARIOUS.

Heh, that's funny. I often get bored and take advantage of my asian descent and get people to think I'm from all sorts of places from China to Japan to even North Korea. Yes I one time, by accident, convinced someone I was from North Korea. More as a joke than anything else only they believed it and for several years thought I was North Korean.

I probably shouldn't have done that.
