problems with my laptop

As off this posting my internet is on the fritz. Whenever I come on site the drop-down menus don't work. But worst off all is that the edit button in my chapters wont work either...which effectively kills my ability to write. I did this post from my phone, as I can't blog from my laptop either. This really sucks. When I get home from work I'll try again, hopefully its just a small problem and can be fixed. If not...then its back to super small chapters from my phone again. And I really don't want to do that again, as it severely limits my writing . Pray I can solve this.
