Months... two months... it doesn't seem like a lot, but it's been one hellish of a two months so far. Ever since my laptop exploded everything has just been going to hell. I can't get anything done with my current fics, I can't get work done for the FoE mod group. I can't even use Skype anymore, my phone is dying too. And that's only two minor things. Trotcon was a total blast, hanging out with PonIver and the other fic authors, playing "Who's a Changeling," and drinking while playing "Cards Against Humanity." Everything else around the con, however, went to hell. Long story short, I had to get all new tires for my car, otherwise I wouldn't have made the trip back to MI. There went three hundred bucks. Then to get the con rate for parking, they had to valet park my car, but they wouldn't. They said it was, in their exact words, "A hazard." Sure, it's old, but it wasn't a hazard... So I had to park. Apparently, I parked in the wrong garage. Instead of parking at the actual hotel lot which was four blocks away, I parked at the garage that was across from the hotel which was the Capitol building parking garage. Instead of paying 25 bucks for parking four days, it cost me 110 dollars!
Plust I still had to pay for the room, which Midnight Quill (The man who reserved the room for us) was awesome and allowed me to pay over time. In all, I got fuuuuuuucked. I was only able to purchase a few things for my nieces, which was my only real goal. So, with all that crap out of the way, I'm doing okay. I'm alive, I have a roof over my head, and I have a fridge with food in it. I just hope to have a computer eventually... so maybe I can actually get a computer going. So, until that time, don't expect immediate responses to any messages.

Well I hope things get better and it sounded like an interesting adventure.

It was cool talking at you again at Trotcon, but that parking garage thing sucks. Hell, we were lucky we got pointed to the right one when we got there. Figuring out that part of Columbus was a nightmare!
