A New Story Is Coming! · 10:25pm Jun 27th, 2013

As you know, I have returned, thanks to the overwhelming support I received from the posting of my four-part blog series on my online and real-world abuse at the hands of the Anti (Alternative) Conversion Bureau. I have finished the novel I left hanging, I.D. - That Indestructible Something and it is time for something new!

With I.D. I endeavored to explore Kafka to create an entirely new universe in which anyone can freely create. It is, however, just a little, well, Kafkaesque.

I have a new novel coming! It is a lighthearted one, with cute and fun characters, and a few familiar muzzles from previous stories I have written. This is a happy story with a happy ending, which at the same time explores one of the dangling mysteries of my Conversion Bureau universe - what really happened with the corporate elite who ruled the earth? What bargain did they strike in order to allow the ponification of mankind, and why did they agree in the first place?

The story is called HUMAN in Equestria

I have heard that as much as thirty percent of the pony stories that are written are HiE stories. It is not a respected genre. It is my intention to do the concept proper justice, as I did with the issue of alicorn characters in CODE: Majeste.

'HUMAN in Equestria' stars a little human girl, a filly Equestrian mare, and a very talented bunny. Please watch for it. I think you will find it happy, fun, and perhaps even a little thought provoking.

A new story coming = I am cumming :moustache:

I want to read it, i think that it is a GREAT idea

[Si~igh] I guess I'll read it.
:duck:
I gue~ess.

That header illustration is really cute.

This'll definitely be a fun switch after the direness of the last one, and it'll be neat to see the Bureau universe again.

I look forward to another masterpiece.
Your work is always a joy to read.

Looking forward to it, and it's good to have you back. Did you see Equestria Girls? It was good and if you haven't then just tell me and I'll give you the Youtube link.

Looking forward to it, as I do all your works.

I'm glad you've decided to continue posting stories. I may have been one of the people that spoke out against the previous blog posts, but you still remain one of my favorite authors on the site.

The description of the story, and additionally the picture paired with it gives me a very 'alice in wonderland' vibe. Is this something you were aiming for?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I wish I could write as fast as you, Chat. I know my health has been a good excuse (gall bladder disease, chronic headaches, cancer, etc.) for a long time but I still yearn to be able to write at least a couple thousand words a day.

I look forward to the new story!

it sounds interesting, and its sad it isn't a respected genre considering all the potential, but unfortunately its true that a lot of potential is wasted. however there are some really great ones out there

perhaps even a little thought provoking.

If it isn't even slightly thought provoking, I won't believe it's your writing.

Eagerly awaiting something spectacular... my heritage lies back in Czechoslovakia, so I'm more than a little excited to read something in the style of Kafka...

I'm still playing around with my story after you gave me that little assist earlier... :pinkiehappy:
Hopefully I can stop writing it in both first and third person, and pick the perspective that does it more justice... writing a story twice at the same time is terrible! :raritycry:

A pony bolts out of the forest to the outskirts of Ponyville and stops dead still his knees lock to keep from falling, his eyes wide in terror, his breathing heavy, as sweat profusely rolls from his face. Concerned ponies begin to gather around to offer their aid, some running off for water, others running off for a doctor. “What's wrong?” “Are you being chased?” “Are you hurt?” “What happened?” “What did you see?” come the questions of the ponies trying to keep from panicking themselves while just trying to help. The pony's eyes stay in the center of his head as he moves his neck to the speaker of the last question. Quietly and over compensating for his panicked state he eerily begins to speak the last thing anypony expected to hear, “Man... was in the forest.”

I haven't seen it yet. Please, I would be interested in the link. PM it too me, if you would be so kind?

Goodness! I wish better - much better - things for you, then! I will work extra hard to at least be entertaining, if nothing else.

Bambi, by Felix Salten. I've read all the Bambi books!

My my... I was wondering what the art entailed... I look forward to this! Perhaps a little meshing of G1 and G4?

As a child, I had a best friend whose family ancestry was Czech.

He taught me a song, which I still remember, but I don't know what it is about! I can't find anything about it on Google, because I don't know the name, or how to even write the words.

But I can put them down phonetically. Is there any chance you know anything about my long dead friend's song?

Thom ponchi coachi, mamo de lochi
skee-see sel-veta-vom grayo sem lochi
yoolida, yoolida, yacha yom thrada
yoolida yoolida, yacha yada mum!

It's a very long shot, of course, what with my terrible phonetic effort there, but... it's worth a try.

 I have yet to actually read Bambi, but it is on my to-do list. I was not aware that it was a series, but I am happy to learn that.

I can't say that I'm familiar with the language very well... and I don't see anything that sounds like the little bits I know... sorry :pinkiesad2:

Welcome back, Chatoyance. We missed you.

You always are. Each of the times I've been in the hospital I've read your stories. The first TCB fic I read at all was The Taste of Grass. That was during my first hospitalization. I've been a fan ever since.

I... missed you, all of you my kind readers... too.

I'm rather burned out with HiE stories, but if past stories say anything about your abilities to make stories "thought provoking," I'm sure you can breathe life into a HiE fic.

As a critique it seems things have gotten rather serious with your writings as of late. Hopefully this becomes a tad more "lighthearted."

I think you may find my take on HiE very... unique.

It will definitely be more lighthearted, and it will have a happy ending.

I always found it funny that ponies wear human-style coats with two legs, not four. I wonder how would TCB humans react to first seeing ponies in such coats. I think they would have questions, wouldn't they? I wonder how would ponies explain this; probably they could (Applejack explaining pigs in Ponies Explaining Ponies comes to mind)
Maybe it's not the right place to raise the issue, since it was started not by you and not now, but I just keep wondering every time I see a pony in coat.

I really should read Alice in Wonderland.
