World of Tanks is frustrating · 2:48am Jun 23rd, 2013
I'm a gamer. I like to play good games, preferably ones with multiplayer so I don't have to play the same thing over and over. I don't mind single player games. Hey, my first ever game that I loved was Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
But in order to have a good gaming hobby going, you need money. And I'm shit broke. So naturally I play Free-to-play games on my laptop. League of Legends, Star Trek Online, and World of Tanks. World of Tanks is giving me grief because it is purely designed for you to pay money in order to do the high end stuff you want. I've been playing this game for about 3 years, and my highest tier is 8. There are 10 tiers, and I don't even have that many tanks. The economy, the reward system, it all sucks if you aren't paying premium. God, my friends who are paying premium have tier 10's and even more.
Don't even talk to me about the idiot players in that game. Great game, but the players are absolute irrational idiots. Lesson is, don't play World of Tanks for fun; play it for hoping to jump up a tier for your pixelated tank.
You don't want to do T10 unless it's TC's or CW. I have a 268 & T110E5(had) that collect dust because T10 pugs make me want to punch my monitor. Imagine the teams you're having now, but with the players running around in E-100's and making even dumber decisions as if they were running T2's, and only had 100 games. It's why I dropped back down to just running my Pershing and T25/2.
