Usually, I don't try to write about politics, media and such kind of stuff, especially in English. However, the situation just simply went out of control.
What is "Our Mothers, Our Fathers"?

"Our Mothers, Our Fathers" is three-part serial about five citizens of Nazi Germany, during 1941 - 1945. This film was recently created by the German company and it was advertised as the "German point of view during II World War". This serial became really famous and it was sold to 60 TV stations across the world.
And now, it's time to come back to reality. "Our Mothers, Our Fathers" is one, big manipulation, which lies almost every 10 minutes and makes German look completely innocent, while Polish, Ukraine and Russians were shown as the cruel, antisemitic bastards. This film is just the another try of German Goverment to soft and hide their own, shameful history. I have recently browse the internet, and actually I spotted that a lot of comments ( from USA and UK too ) said that this film was really engaging, interesting and truthful. Oh sweet God!
First of all, why the buck film starts in 1941? Seriously, what!? Let me train to explain this.
War started in 1 September of 1939, by the German attack on Poland. This country was conqured in one month and the mass executions began already. Till the end of war, Poland lost 17,2% percent of their ENTIRE population ( for comparison : Germany : 8,8%, France : 1,8%, UK : 0,8%, USA : 0,3% ). Poland lost more people than UK, France, Belgian, Niderlands and USA together! To imagine it better, just think of your schoolmates/workmates and how many of them would be executed, tortured to death, set on fire, gased etc.
This the god damm Fact!
It took just two years from the end of 1939 to exterminate almost 10% of the entire nation. But... what we see in film? Nothing! These two years just simply don't exist! In the entire film there was only a ONE reference to these earlier years. You know what reference? Wehrmacht soldier wearing the medal from the campaign against Poland...
In the German minds, the "War" began in 1941 when THEY attacked the russians. However, again in the film it was actually show that it was almost German defending against the russians! What? Yes, I clearly know that Stalin was planning to backstab Hitler, but for god sake, this is simply manipulation!
Another manipulation. The film begins and we see scene when 5 German citizens meet together. One of them is Jew ( and they all know it ) and two of them are soldiers of Wehrmacht. It is 1941. The jew said :
"I don't believe that I'm treaten ( by persecution ) because I'm Jew. I'm the German citizen and I'm working for Germany."
Well, in 1935 you actually stopped being German citizens! The film don't mention at all "Nuremberg Laws", which made all of jews actually lost all of their laws and principles. Also, this guy seems to forget the Kristallnacht, when 2.000 Jews died, dozens of Jews shop and houses were completely destroyed and the synagogues were burned to ashes. This guy is either a time-travel bro with no history knowledge or just simply blind and deaf idiot. Also, no Wehrmacht soldier would even make long and deep conversation about anything with Jew.
However, what is the biggest problem of the entire film is anti-Semitism part. The serial showed us that Germans were hating jews, same as AK ( Polish Underground ), Ukraine Underground and Russians. Know, read this carefully.
Yes, it's true that there were racist on both sides, but till the end of war, German killed several millions of Jews ( it was probably 6 mln, but we can't be sure. Fun fact, actually more Poles died during the war than Jews beacuse of Holocaust ), while it's hard to even count to 100 in case of Polish killing jews. In film it was shown, that actually Poles were more racist than Germans. Wehrmacht soldiers ( in film ) were doubting themselves when they were forced to execute Jews, while Poles in film were stupid, brainless racists that want to kill and burn every Jew possible. Goebbels, you would be so proud!
I wanted to write more about it, but at this time I'm completely exhausted from rage after seeing this film. For the love of God, don't fall to Germans history manipulation, they are doing it from 1970 and what is the most astonishing, they are suceeding!
