Out of Format (Five) · 6:27am Jun 16th, 2013
Dear Readers,
Did everyone have a nice day? I hope you did. I enjoyed a rather impromptu overnight camping trip on Friday evening (no work!) and had copious amounts of alcohol that dearly relaxed me. In retrospect, I believe such alcohol may have assisted me in writing the prior motivational blog post. Believe it or not, nearly all of the quotations listed are from my own personal conversations with others. Surprisingly I get a lot of good advice, thus why I began the motivational blog format. I do hope you enjoy it and do forgive me for my....um...intoxicated...rambling....
Moving on.
As many of you may have noticed I have decided to split part four into parts. The second part should be up whenever my OCD satisfies itself with the chapter. This implies the usual: I read the chapter, write some, delete some more, rewrite, check, recheck, delete, rewrite, ect. I do this and spell checking (which sometimes is skipped over...) as many times as I can until I can say, "I can read that". If I can't read the chapter to myself and like it, I know you won't either. I know you may be saying you shouldn't mind, but to me it *is* a big issue and I dearly want my readers to enjoy the experience with me conveying my words properly to you. I really want you to be able to imagine the scenery without struggling so much with word or sentence comprehension.
If you find I do have problems with such comprehension, please notify me post haste. I will do everything to correct it.
I really am enjoying my time writing this. With more honored readers and fellow writers taking note of the story, I am motivated to continue it more and more along a line that separates me from writing notes constantly. The second part of part four is probably a good example of this with as much as I've written. When I originally wrote my chapter notes for part four, it was for a whole part, not separate parts. Taking the motivation from the encouragement I was receiving, I decided to risk dashing out and exploring the possibilities of the route of the story- just for a bit -while trying to keep it in league with my full plot notes. Surprisingly, everything fit, so I'm...going with it still.
We're nearing a point of some big reveal, but I won't say just yet. If any of you have been catching the cues of the mystery pony, you may already know who he is. If not, except a reveal that may or may not be surprising to you. I'll put some extra effort into doing my best in it so you can enjoy the experience.
I hope you are all enjoying the read so far and I am especially glad you have stuck around this long. Thank you not only for your patience, but especially for those of you who have encouraged me thus far. Thank you, dearly, from the bottom of my heart.
Have fun reading and writing!
With Deep Sincerity,
Shane
*BONUS EDIT*
I pondered adding this, but I might as well. I've been throwing around a Terminator crossover in my head for a few days now. I'm not sure when I'll begin writing it, but if the inspiration sticks and what few notes I have on it stay true, it will probably be a darkly-type of story. I figure waiting until "The Outcast" is finished is a better idea. That way if I am inspired to do a continuation, I will, and concentrate fully on it.
