So I'm currently taking some antibiotics for the next couple weeks in order to prepare for some dental surgery I need. I haven't been able to use the left side of my mouth for roughly five and a half years due to a broken tooth that exposed the root. Up until recently, that hasn't been much of a problem, until on Saturday where I embarked on possibly the most painful experience of my life, my tooth and nerves feeling like they were trying to rip my jaw apart.
Apparently that's atypical. The pain was apparently much more than what is normal because of the fact my wisdom tooth- which had appeared to take the place of a molar I had extracted some seven years ago now - is completely reliant on this broken tooth to stay upright, and was putting a lot of pressure on the broken molar. It was the equivalent to someone poking an open wound and then not letting off.
Right now I'm on antibiotics and some 800 mg painkillers until the infection subsides, but I'll still be in some amount of pain until the surgery happens in the first week of July.
I'll be trying to get some writing done... well, some more writing done before then, but I am glad to mention that this is reconstruction surgery - I'll be able to use the other side of my mouth again for the first time in six years. I'm kind of pumped about that.

Seems... peculiar, doesn't it? Normally, people at least try to visit a doc to have them patched up. But no, not HB, the masochistic sap.

I really shouldn't make fun of someone suffering, but it does seem weird that you haven't fixed it for over 5 years. 
Wow, you aren't having much luck lately are you?
Ouch. I've done the whole trying to write while under pain meds, it tends to be a little weird. The hide from the world because it's really out there weird. So just take it easy, and think of daisies, or ponies, or what have you.
July... damn, that sucks.

It is a bit peculiar, yes, but them's the breaks. Big ol' chunk of tooth missing, but it never gave me much pain, so I left well enough alone.
