So, after... some time, I glanced at my own page. And rediscovered the resolution by which I freed up a significant amount of time for work. Sunday is Ponyday.
I really shouldn't have forgotten that - it would have saved me rather a lot of trouble.
Update, though - the horrors of that self insert fic no longer stir my inspiration, and so Beati Mortui is progressing. At glacial speeds, but progressing nonetheless. The main difficulty is that I am actually having to study Emakaji's Equestria:Total War to try and draw out the world-knowledge that an author possesses, but doesn't necessarily convey directly to their readers.
Still, I am daring to write a piece of fiction derived from a shining example of what I consider to be a platinum-standard story. Moreover, I have been pretentious enough to give that work a latin title, as well as subtitles based off of some of the greatest pieces of literature ever written. It would be remiss of me not to do everything in my power to ensure a high level of quality.
With that said, I suppose I should return to the schedule I had previously stated. Sunday is Ponyday - provided I have completed my work. And boy, have I ever been negligent in that area! I guess I'll just have to put my shoulder to the wheel for now. Rather a pity, actually - the weather has decidedly changed for better, and, if past experience is anything to go by, will likely only continue to do so until I clear up my schedule enough to enjoy it.
Still, time and tide wait for no man, so for now, I bid you adieu.
