    State of the Writer Overall

Blehhhhh. I don't know when I'm going to actually get to writing. I've once again come up on the problem of having multiple things I want to work on, and not knowing what I want to do, and thereby not writing. Getting into FFXIV really doesn't help, as well as getting excited for streaming again. All I can say is that as soon as I make actual progress on something (like, something

    Well okay then

I edited a friend's story. Now I'm editing Burning Bridges.

This is... hmm. And I don't have an intense desire to play video games.

    THIS IS REALLY GOOD PROGRESS

State of the Writer: November 2014

I figure years would probably be helpful for these.

So yeah, still working full time. It's a pain, but my living has improved because of it (dat fat paycheck), so I'm not sure how much I wanna force the issue.

STATE OF THE NINES: 300 followers??? · 7:00am Jun 9th, 2013

Yeah, you can see the number on my profile, and stuff.

NEWS:

I have moved out! Like, totally officially and stuff! No longer living off my parents! Job hunting! Living with roommates!

This makes writing hard.

Both of these people I am living with are, first off, BROTHERS, whom are great friends. They also are EXTROVERTS who like SPORTS. Oh, and they both like LEAGUE OF LEGENDS (one of them is plat III, christ I'm only silver I, only through not playing for all of the last two semesters) more than me and are helping me (both through persistence and through advice) to raise my solo-queue rating. This is time consuming.

Which means writing is hardddddddd

Thankfully, I have my own room, which is on the other side of the house from THEIR rooms, but it is directly linked to the living room where they play games anyway. Finding time to be alone, as per required for art as I write, is difficult. That said, I may try and set some rules with them so I have time to write everyday, but who knows. They can be unpredictable sometimes.

Also, I'm getting into game of thrones and attack on titan. Help.

FIC UPDATES:

My plan is still overall the same. I want to finish OOTB, and when I do, I'll start trying to poop out some Persona crossover. Pinkmalion will have to be inserted wherever I feel like it. Other fics I want to re-write, like Faith or Burning Bridges, will be put off until I feel something strongly about them, and just spend two weeks at once working on them or something to that effect.

Here is the news I don't think I've mentioned.

The way I'm writing the persona fic is going to be different. I'm going to write the whole story first, or at least a ton of it, and at every section (at this point, it is looking like every month, which is 1 shadow form per month, except for one very special month, hehehe...), I'll send it off to pre-readers for editing. My first drafts are usually notoriously awful, more awful than the first drafts I have read that people think were awful.

What does this mean for readers? Very simply: You won't see the story for a while, but hopefully it should update once a week as soon as I start posting it. I love editing far more than writing, so I'll be able to crank out chapters at a good pace, and they should be quality. In fact, since I'm USING pre-readers, it should be MORE quality than usual. I hope.

So yeah, that is the news/fics. Enjoy your horse words.

I find it hard to write at my house for similar reasons, so you should do what I do: leave. I usually go to a nice café about ten minutes away from my house where they have decent food, a nice atmosphere, a generally quiet clientele, and an endless cup of coffee. I generally spend anywhere from two-and-a-half to four hours at a time there, writing all the way. Look around near your new place, find something that works for you. Rowling wrote most of Potter in a café, after all.

Also PERSONA PERSONA PERSONA

Also also you're getting into GoT? Duuuuuuude we need to geek out over it. That's probably my favorite show.

NINES IS ROOMMATES HARD BECAUSE THEY HEAR YOU CLOP?

And in five more months we will have another blog post telling us the next chapter of OOTB is almost finished. :V

As much as I want to rejoice at this, your track record isn't that inspiring :derpytongue2:

Then again, my track record is even worse, I've been trying to write anything since Season One and I still haven't, so I should probably just shut up.

Regardless, I'm really looking forward to seeing OotB end, I've fucking forgotten most of it at this point, which means that I'll have to reread it. So freaking happy about that.

Pinkmalion will have to be inserted wherever I feel like it.

If you don't finish this, Nines, I will show you exactly where to insert it. >:V

I'm only two episodes in, but I'm really liking it!
And that is a good idea, there is a caribou coffee just down the street from me...

They can't handle the pony porn no.

1133634
Are you implying that that matters to you :I?

1133965
Nou

1133846
It's been a hell of a lot harder to get inspired after S3 started airing for me.

1134073
The secret is to feed them humanized pony porn and then break the news to them after they ask for more of it.

1134453 It's been hard to get inspired since Season Two for me. With all the things I've come to hate about the show, I'm more of a fan of the fandom and what it produces at this point.

Kind of makes it hard to get the drive to write about the show.

1134481
Hah. I'm so much less a fan of the fandom now more than ever. S3 was terrible, but i still have S1 and the characters to play with. Of course, since I dislike most fan-made stuff and dislike S3, it's kinda hard to get excited about almost anything. :twilightsheepish:

Eww, LoL. Tell him to play a real game: HoN. :trollestia:
