The Equestrian Dark Age, and a Fond Farewell

Funny story. I was going to write one more piece before I moved on to writing novels and such. It was going to be about what would happen if the Summer Sun Celebration had been held in Canterlot that year. The opening image was Twilight and Spike fleeing the city, dodging fires and crumbling buildings, after watching Nightmare Moon banish Celestia to the sun. I had the broad strokes of the plot.

The Story of The Magician and the Fiddler Continues · 1:14am Jun 9th, 2013

On 13 June 2013, however, The Ballad of Trixie Lulamoon was integrated with its prequel, in which it now comprises the third and fourth chapters. The cover image and description it had when it was a separate story are as follows:

"From now until forever, we'll always be together," Fiddlesticks had said. Trixie knew hyperbole when she heard it, being Equestria's foremost practitioner, but the fires of Tartarus had tempered her resolve, so when the only mare she ever loved died two lifetimes too soon, she discarded a life that no longer held meaning to rescue her from Hades and instill a message in the collective consciousness: the age of gods had ended.

If you want to know why Fiddlesticks was so quick to fall in love with Trixie in The Magician and the Fiddler, you'll find the answer at the end of The Ballad of Trixie Lulamoon; if you want to know more about part three, you'll have to read the author's notes of the fourth and final chapter; and finally, if you want to know more about other coming attractions, you'll find the following list very informative. It consists of the short descriptions of all the stories I presently have planned. I'm going to start including full descriptions of the next two stories in the author's notes of each completed story. For The Ballad of Trixie Lulamoon, those descriptions will correspond to Maturity and Another Slice of Pie.

Maturity - Twilight, Celestia - Romance, Slice of Life - One Chapter - Mature, Sex - Twilight, faced with a problem for which all her reasoning falls short, is at a loss.

Another Slice of Pie - Pinkie, Inkie, Blinkie, Skyline - Romance, Adventure - Five Chapters - Everyone - On the hunt for adventure, Inkie and Blinkie plummet into a pocket dimension. They're not the first.

The Queen of the Sea Ponies - Luna, Ditzy, Pisces, Trident - Romance, Adventure - Eight Chapters - Teen, Sex - Seas have dried up and ancient pacts have surfaced—the flying fish has made her maiden voyage.

Fluttershy, Vampire Hunter - Fluttershy, Luna - Dark, Slice of Life - Eight Chapters - Teen, Sex, Gore - Fluttershy dies of a mysterious blood infection. Unfortunately for her, death is only the beginning.

Rarity, Lady Thief - Twilight, Rarity - Adventure, Alternate Universe - Eight Chapters - Teen, Sex - Rarity steals Celestia's regalia for an interested client.

Pinkie, My Pinkie - Pinkie, Me - Romance, Human - One Chapter - Mature, Sex - An author falls in love with one of his characters, but if he stops writing, she'll die.

The Equestrian Dark Age - Twilight, Nightmare Moon, Discord, Chrysalis, Sombra - Dark, Alternate Universe - Eight Chapters - Teen, Sex, Gore - Twilight witnesses the end of the age of ponies.

As you may have guessed, Pinkie, My Pinkie and The Equestrian Dark Age will be my last two fan fictions. After that, I'll be writing my original works of fantasy and romance. I hope you've enjoyed the show!
