holy shit i have been writing this for 4 hours .....

ok guys that actually read this xD im not dead i am still writing though slowly very slowly........ but with the help of a friend my writing is getting alot better and the plot is far more intresting i must say. but i happen to like spoilers so if you actually follow me i shall grant you some in this ...very.....blog.....POST!
now sorry about the format xD it was done on notepad but this describes the races in my universe including the different types of changelings and the 3 pony tribes and alicorns from personalities to abilities and attributes i tried to cover all the bases for each race and at the bottom are small bios for the main characters if you dont want alot of spoilers avoid that section.

story cannon info
here il describe the races and creatures of my equestria how they act and their abilities there are quite a few but anyone reading my story may want to know this
stuff i will also provide some insider info on the main charicters this however will have spoilers on the charicters YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! :D

for the basic races of equestria this is my head cannon and how i think they are / act :D

changeling types

drone - simple changeling, minimal inteligence obeys all orders without
question, basic persionality that growes with contact with ponies, most common
changeling type, used for all needs, from fighting to work to infiltration.
lives around 200 years if properly fed. can take the form of any normal ponies
and gianes there abilities based on that form (this may lock changeling abilities based on form ex.earth ponies cant use magic)

pratorian - bit larger then a drone, has more natural armor (looks like armor they made but its thicker plates of chitin
they are smarter then drones and can think tatically are much stronger, faster, and better in most regards, can become invisiable
along with normal changeing, these changelings make up the royal guard for the queen and the commanders if military action is needed
they live around 250-350 if properly fed with love and depending on combat could possiably live far longer but it has never happened.
pratorians also have vastly superior magic reserves over drones.can also make new disguises at will while drones must see there desired disguise in order to use it.
pratorians have much more persionalitythen drones some even have a sense of humor (though rare) these changelings are born on a rate of 1/100.

Queen (chrysalis) - is ageless can die from heavy injury but not sickness or starvation (can fall into a coma from starvation) much taller then
either drones or pratorians, around the size of a full grown alicorn with magic and abilities to match (can be augmented with large amounts of love)
the queen is mother of the hive and has full access to the hive mind. all drone must obey her orders at all times. can change to a pony form at will
but unlike other changelings due to her stature alicorn formes are easy to replicate but regular ponies tend to be harder for her.
she loves her changelings above all else and always fights to protect them at all costs. she can be a brilient tatcitian (though can be blinded by overconfidence)

hive mind - the hive mind binds all changelings together no matter where they are. the queen is at the top or head of the hive mind and can voice
orders to any changelings at will and they will need to obey. all members of the hive mind may talk with eachother at will and turn off the link at will
as to not hear the other changelings thoughts when desired but the queens voice is always heard. as previously stated a changeling must obey and order from the queen
with out question and if they are in her presence drones will be forced into duty mode and await orders regardless of whats going on unless already under
her orders. pratorians can question orders but it is not wise to do so but as the hives military commanders they need ot be aible to question the queens tatics
if they have info she does not for example (this situation is rare however due to the hive mind's information sharing).
It is rumored that ponies can be brought into the hive mind. But for what reasion is unknown and how they would react is also unknown.

pony types

unicorn - unicorns look like a basic earth pony but with a horn on their head, this horn allowes them easy casting of there internal magics as spells. they normally
have more innate magic reserves then the other 2 types and due to this increased energy can live longer roughly 150-220 if exceptionally powerful. unicorns tend to be overconfident in their abilities especially from canterlot (the capital city) where the 'nobility' resides. but this is not always without cause some unicorns such as the element of magic twilight sparkle have magic many times the average. unicorns tend to be either scientists or inteligent ponies or good at crafting machines. there 'spells' or manifastation of their magic outside there bodies in a controled manor can take nearly any form from a shot of pure energy to changeling a fruit into a different fruit and many other forms.

earth pony - an earth pony is your basic pony and probably the most common outside of canterlot or cloudsdale. they dont have a horn or wings but are extremely durable and skilled in the use of plants and the earth. they make great farmers and laborers despite there lack of unicorn magic. normally less educated then unicorns they are still highly skilled in their trades and can harvest crops at a rate many times that of the other races. earth ponies do have magic though it is not expressed like a unicorns earth pony magic is expressed through there hooves and can help them manipulate plant life. this magic also gives them unrivaled healing abilities and though they dont live as long as unicorns they still live esially past 100.

pegasi - pegasi are slightly smaller then earth ponies on average they have wings that allow them to fly. and their bodies are adapted to life in the air. their bones are hollow much like a bird but are still plenty strong enough to endure tough winds and falls. they have a very fast metabolism that grants them superior natural energy reserves allowing them to fly for long periods of time without tireing. there natural magic is obviously expressed through there wings this allows them to get easy lift despite the wings size contrary to there bodies, it also allowes them to manipulate weather and wind forces. or to increase there already impressive flying abilities there metabolism how ever limits there average life span to 70-90 years, and because of this they are naturally brash and headstrong preferring to live in the moment rather then plan for the long run, however they are the most loyal of the 3 races and make great fighters should the need arise.

Alicorns (celestia and luna) - alicorns are the emobdyment of all three races of ponies they are far larger in size easially double. there are only 2 in the world
they are the princesses Celestia and her sister Luna they are ageless and immune to sickness but can be killed through extreme injury, but this is hard due to them haveing all the traits of the three races they have more magic then any unicorn alive, the ability to heal and endure like an earth pony and the ability to fly and the speed of pegasi all rolled into one nice package. they lead the ponies of equestria as absolute diarchs (aka 2 monarchs or kings/queens) they have the magical power to move the sun and moon respectivally without tireing. Celestia is commonly known for being kind and benovlient in her ruleing and she cares for every single one of her ponies. Luna is the opsite of her sister while she cares about her subjects just as much she tends to be harsher and more logical and tends to be misunderstood (hence the NMM incident) some ponies still fear her despite her best efforts to win there admiration. these 2 sisters are possibly the most powerful combatants alive along with the queen of the changelings who also fits in the alicorn category.

other ponies

hybrids - Cadence or princess mi amora cadenza is a winged unicorn they resemble alicorns abut only have the traits of 2 races not all 3 this means they age
normally. they have average traits all around but like cadence she can use magic and fly but is not paticurally adept at either action. there are other mixes like
horned pegasi who are better at flying but have simple magic like levitation, or an earth pony unicorn they look like unicrons but have the abilites of earth ponies these combanations however are extremely rare nearly 1/5000 and princess cadence is the only one known in over 4000 years. and there life spane vary depending on the combanation of races unicorn earthpony hybrids while hardest to identify would naturally live the longest.

Main charicters (BIOGRAPHIES AND ABILITIES)

enigma/pandora - the main charicter shes an alicorn but is not part of the natural order she is a true immortal and can not die she can be injured but recovers incredibly fast but that depends on her powerlvl but even if she is completly exausted she will recover. she is pitch black with a dark black / gray mane with
red splotches that look like blood splatter and holes in it like chryslais. she appears in two different forms, her normal form is an alicorn slightly smaller then
Celestia around Lunas seasion 2 size, she is a blank flank, she has little to no memory all she knows is basic knowlage such as how to talk, walk .ect she comes toponyville injured and hardly awake twilight finds her and helps her and over time she becomes a well known member of the town.
her other form is more of a mystery. in this form she grows to celestias height her horn and wings grow to match. she gets her mark witch is a blood red moon
with a scythe around it and also gaines a large scythe she carries with her. in this form her powers are greatly increased from her normal form where she is not adept at much she can easially match both Celestia and Luna is a straight fight as well as being skilled with her scythe. she has many names most lost to time, these include destroyer of life, devil, the grim reaper, grim galloper, and many others. and in her finial form she loses her morality to an extreme extent to become almost without mercy.

Chrysalis - the queen of the changelings she was once a flutterpony princess by the name of Puna and along with her sister Solara they ruled the flutterponies
just as Celestia and Luna do to the ponies of today. she had a run in with pandora's final form over 10,000 years ago and she along with a small group of flutterponies where all that survived the encounter she as Puna was inocent and kind despite being 10,000 years old at the encounter with Pandora she never grew past the mind of a child because of peaceful world she and her sister ruled but that day changed her along with the rest of her surviving flutter ponies. they became changelings and with that she donned the name chrysalis shedding her innocence one and for all. she spent the next 9,999 years fighting for the survival of her changed race. determaned to protect them from all dangers and vowed to not allow the events of the past to repeat them selves.

Twilight Sparkle - she is the most powerful unicorn ever born, the persional student to celestia, and element of magic (the head of the elements of harmony)
she is a studious leaner and will stop at nothing to learn everything about everything. but she is prone to overreacting, such as when she was a day late
in sending celestia a letter on what she learned about freindship celestia herself needed to come and calm her. she looks like a fairly normal unicorn
she is average in size with a purple coat and darker purple mane with a pink stripe down the middle. her cuttie makr id a six pointed star representing magic.
she is skilled in the use of all magics and is knowlagiable in many otherfields of study. she is a fast learner and can multitaks with the best of them.
the only other unicorn that can multitask better is rarity. over a year ago twilight found enigma passed out in the middle of ponyville she woke her up and took her home and helped her they became quick freinds and loved to study together. she is a match for any other pony short of the princesses in magical combat, however physically she is not the toughest and she can be confused or distracted if you throw to many questions at her or tell her she failed. but her loyalty to Clesetia and close friendship with Luna mean shes always got help close at hand and not to mention the other 5 elements of harmony are her best friends.

Celestia - princess of equestria, she is the older of the 2 only living alicorns on the planet and is around 10,000 years old. she is widly known as one of the kindest and most heart fealt ponies to have ever lived. she is completly devoted to her ponies and will defend them with her life. she is an exceptionally powerful magic user as well as being skilled with a sword and has the ability to craft one from pure magical energy. but she is best with desensive spells due to her huge power reserves. her sheild psells can put shining armors to shame if his was gold hers are diamond. she is also very wise and has incrediable skill with dealing with others and is a great speaker. she has taught twilight everything she knows and does not hide her pride for her student. side note worlds greatest troll.

Luna - the second princess of equestria. Luna is the polar opsite of her sister in many regards she is the night while her sister is the day. while they both love and cherish there subjects luna rules in a different fashion while celestia is kind and patient Luna is logical and calculating preferes the most efficient method of solving a problem and will enforce laws without pause. when it comes to magic she lackes the raw power of her sister but makes up for it in precision for if Celstia is the shield Luna is the sword. her magical attacks are feared above all others and she is the only pony alive that can break celestias sheilds. her presence on the battlefield is enough to make armies run from combat. but while she is more secluded and calculating she is just as kind as celestia if not more so. after the NMM incident she was shuned by the nobility and many of the common pony. but she found her first freind in twilight after that she befreinded all the elements and has been becoming more welcomed by the population ever since. she is like twilight is many regards, such as she is a rabid reader and loves mysteries. she is seen as one of the best scollers of their time twilight is a close second. and she knows more about magic then celestia but she does not boast about this.

now this is just reference info fo me as i write but it will help give you readers some inside info once i post this story xD and just to keep you updated.
