I highly doubt anyone is going to particularly care, since the only signs I exist are a few odd reviews scattered here and there, meaning no one is going to read this, but I came up with a writing challenge.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Revamped challenge
Challenge: Watch episodes 1 and 2 of the first season.
Now, armed with that and general summaries of the following episodes, write.
I'm not asking for novelizations of every episode, I'm asking you, with the assumption that only the Mare in the Moon episodes are absolute canon, to write out the other episodes as you feel they could've played out.
It HAS to follow the general summary and title of the episode, AND everything has to be consistent within your canon.
Restriction: NO TOTAL REHASHES! If the readers wanted to read your writing down the events of the actual show, they would go find it online, or watch the Hub. Again, you are using the general summaries as a base. Copying wholesale is a no-go.
Note: You are allowed to drop exactly one story arc. Discord? Grand Galloping Gala? Shining's wedding? Some other minor episode? Your pick. Just be aware of the consequences.
Note: If you wish, you can also write additional 'episodes', expanding, continuing on, explaining, or wrapping up plot threads should you choose and so desire.
*"General summary" ~ Find a website that offers a vague description of each episode. Use it as a general plot summary for the 'episode'. I.E: "The Great and Powerful Trixie comes to town and wreaks havoc." Does havoc follow Trixie? Did she bring something to Ponyville that she shouldn't have? Is Trixie some sort of super villain that the Elements of Harmony have to stop? You decide.
Now that that's out of the way, I want to simply say one thing:
