Okay, I might do this after I finish my current story. No telling how long that'll take, though.
Anyway, I think that I need to figure out the teams in advance and get them recorded somewhere, lest I forget.
Team SOL (Red and White uniforms)
Scout: Rainbow Dash
Soldier:

There are quite a few gaps, I know. I might fill one or two of Team SEL's with OC Royal Guards.
Still, any and all suggestions are welcome.

I would actually go Big mac for soldier, Ditzy hooves for pyro, and pinkie pie as heavy.
Ha, totally read this as Transformers two... so I was a little confused by the roles...
Anyway... now I get it, but for the soldier class in SOL...why not Braeburn?

For an all-pony line-up?
I agree that Ditzy Doo should be sniper, or possibly the spy (as she turns up in the oddest places, and therefore must be stealthy).
As you've already got those spots down, perhaps you could shuffle Twilight to Pyro (she goes flamey when angry already), and Pinkie to soldier (Which other pony would think of rocket jumping first?).
Rarity would also make for a good sniper, refusing to take the shot until it is absolutely perfect, going crazy when people get near her, et c...
On the SEL side, I'm feeling Foto Finish as Medic (though, yes, one of the Nurses would be more logical, but you could do so much comedy with her mannerisms in this spot, From forcing their heavy to wait until "We Goh", or charging up "Ze Magicks").
Possibly a Royal Guard for Soldier on this side, Spitfire as Pyro, Octavia shifting from Spy to Sniper, opening up Spy for Fancy Pants (What interactions with Rarity to be had, regardless of her class!).
Heavy's tough, though. If SEL is associated with Luna, possibly Pip, but only if you have CMC on the other team somewhere. Ditzy Doo's fannonical obsession with muffins could become sandviches. Or you could simply go crazy, and pick a random character that completely misses the class altogether, like, say, Davenport (proprietor of Quills and Sofas).
