So, the moment I decide to actually start writing...

About six story ideas rush to the forefront of my mind, all deserving equal attention...
Do I start with the new one...
Do I go back and try again with "Vinyl's Refrain..."
Do I start on "Boon of Ages?"
    ...
    HOW DO YOU PEOPLE DECIDE?
There aren't enough sides on a coin to flip for it.
How do I even approach the organization?
I've never even attempted a writing project this large before.

    Ladies and Gentlecolts, I've decided...

To get off my lazy bum and actually begin to write a story.
Well, not so much a story as a one-shot.
I've been toying with an idea for a while now, and come to the conclusion that it's worthy of being written down.
I cannot say that it will come soon, knowing my notorious affinity for writers block.
    BUT IT SHALL COME!
This is my solemn vow to you.
    It will come.
    I swear.

Is My Update Star Thingy the Only One That's Broken?

I shows three updates, but displays none when I click on it.
It's fine, not like it's bothering me or anyth-
    OKAY, YES!
IT BOTHERS THE LIVING FUDGE OUT OF ME!
    WHY YOU NO FUNCTION PROPERLY?
I GET EXCITED WHEN I SEE IT, BUT THEN I REMEMBER!
    THEN I FEEL THE SADS!
It's really annoying, and has been going on for some time.

    HOLY FLOODED NOTIFICATIONS, BATPONY!

I come back to the ridiculous amount of one hundred ninety-six feed notifications and twenty-six social notifications.
    Christ above.
    I leave for a week!
Whelp, I am glad that my totally justified fear of this site burning to the ground in my absence didn't come true.
In fact, I'd say the site improved somewhat.

Log entry #3

Day four, and still things surprise me...

I have returned from my Gate explorations, only to find that I wish to return. The Gates, and the worlds captured therein, hold a great appeal to me... like a magnet. I'm not sure what to call it, maybe addiction? It's as good a term as any, I suppose. I'll deal with that later.

I have discovered that the inhabitants of FiMFiction, (I have decided to use this as a shortcut, as I am a lazy journal-writer. Even though writing this little note to myself is requiring far more effort than writing the name of this land in its entirety would otherwise.), have a name for themselves... what was it again? Ah, yes. They call themselves "Bronies", or "Brony" for a single inhabitant. There is an alternate term for females, "Pegasisters" as they are known. However, I have rarely heard anyone use this title for one another, so I assume that "Brony" is the go-to phrase.

These "Bronies" have created for themselves quite a complex society and, as with all societies, there is the inevitable caste system... which I shall record on another page...

I'd tell you to refrain from the flattery, but my ego is loving it.
I'll look over your stuff later, I'm going to an animal sanctuary to get my Fluttershy on in a bit.
Me mum volunteers there regularly, and has decided to bring me along.

I assume the 'other page' is your new thread? :derpytongue2:

1107948 Sounds like something entertaining to do... I think...

1107948 I would refrain from the flattery but I don't know any other ways of living, trust me I've tried being a jerk but it's just not in me. :fluttercry:

Nope, just haven't gotten around to making it yet.
I plan on separating this entry into two parts...
I may be doing this frequently, as this blasted Nook enjoys bucking up when I try and write more than the entry box can fit...

1108341
Well it probably functions them my piece of crap laptop. :twilightoops: But it has internet and Microsoft word, so its all good

1108343
I'd rather be using a craptop than this thing while writing.
At least I'd be able to listen to youtube while doing so.

1108354
Thats very true. Pandora has seen me through many a night of strenuous writing.

Ya do know ya don't hafta quote me here, right?
I get a notif. when ya post.
My music changes with the wind, whatever I feel like.
From Wagner to Sinatra to dubstep.

Wow, thats almost as diverse as my playlist.

Dvorak to Demon Hunter to Lindsy Sterling

Oi, that's that violinist who played with dubstep, right.
I've listened to some of her stuff, she's great.

Indeedy she is. Very epic. Its like a joint force of Octavia and Vinyl in the same concert.

1109169
Because of Vinyl, I want to be a DJ.
Because of Octavia, and my love of classical music, I want to play the cello.
I also want to write books, draw something half-decent, learn to program, work on my deductive skills, and many other odd hobbies of mine...

Pursue the writing. Writing is awesome.

1109217
'Spose not, and it is something I'm at least somewhat adept at already...
But I still want to pursue the cello, if only as a hobby...

1108341 God, dude. This day by day entry thing is harder than it looks.
