So I'm trundling along, STILL working on ACC chap 5 (Which at this point is up to revised direction number 136, but the forks in the road are being navigated, at least) and I have my headphones on and I have music, as is my wont when writing. Currently playing is the new Steven Wilson album, The Raven That Refused to Sing (And Other Stories). It's very good (it's Steven Wilson, so of course it is) and then I get to the last track... and all work stops.
It's amazing. And very sad.
Now my heart is filled with sad. And I KNOW there's a fic here. But I suck at sad-fic. I've done a fic dealing with the dear departed before (in the AtLA-verse, HERE), but that's decidedly more uplifting than the mood of this.
Anyone want to take a shot at this?
