    Cosplay Selling

Hey everyone. Not dead, just quiet.

How about them ponies, huh? Do you like dressing up as them?

My partner in life and cosplay, Tempest, is selling her Rainbow Dash Wonderbolts cosplay.

    This one:

Natasha Romanoff in The Spy Who Didn't Care

Are you following me because you like my writing as much as if not more than ponies? Do you like meta humor? How about Marvel movies? Well guess what! I have all those things in more in my latest fic up on Ao3:

After the success of the recent Marvel Studio Avengers and Avengers spin-off movies, Captain Marvel is getting her own film! And Black Widow isn't.

    To DragonCon I Go

Chapter 18 of Newborn Mare is up, and I'm off to DragonCon. Expect Chapter 19 to be similarly delayed, because, well, DRAGONCON.

This is my costume list this year- much reduced, because YOWZA, last year was intense.

    Schedule for this year:

    Thursday - SPACE
    Friday Day - Beka Cooper

    Murphy'd

So much for best laid plans.

Apologies, guys. Thanks to DragonCon prep and RL job, Chapter 18 won't be out till later this week. Seriously- my apologies. Especially given the note I left the story on last week.

But you will see more before this week is out! By cracky.

Continuity · 5:24pm May 26th, 2013

I usually keep my stories to a length that I remember pretty easily where everything is, how it got there, what voice I was using, etc. With Blossoming though, I'm starting to get bigger than my story memory can recall.

The last batch of chapters didn't stray from continuity, but upon reflection, I could see they were starting to thanks to some of the in-story changes. So, I'm reading earlier chapters, getting back to the heart of the story I'm telling and ensuring that I don't pull any John Green's and make every day Friday (a tempting decision for any writer, but we must abstain in the name of willing suspension of disbelief).

I already got called on a continuity glitch in Just a Dream by my editor and ever-suffering, special somepony, Jess, and was glad she caught it. Now that my stories are getting bigger, I need to be a bit more on my game.

Ah, the writer's life for me!
