Laments and Moving Forward.

Sup guys.

I can't really describe the feeling of finishing my Lunajack story after so long. Admittedly, it's something of a minor accomplishment for me, but I must roll on. The story was an absolute blast to do and taught me a lot about writing.

Prior to doing Fanfics, I stuck with mostly writing articles for websites and various forms of poetry. The one thing I've learned is that writing a good yarn is a beast to do right. I started with one called "Stalliongrad Nights" (a Fleur de Mac), but it became a bit unwieldy. I did a few one shots before doing the Lunajack story, mostly as a joke. But once it began to take shape, it started to seem like a good idea, and through various retools and rewrites to the story, it moved from the original intention of being a sad tale to just something fun and lighthearted. Overall, I'm pleased as hell with it and a little sad it's done. Funny how you get attached to characters like that.

For what its worth and barring any interruptions, I'll finish up "Implacable" by Tuesday. The story (Appleshy) is intended to be short, but I felt 6k worth of words was a bit long for a one-shot. I wanted to do an Flutters x AJ story for a while because there seemed so few. I also had a few ideas left over that didn't fit into the Lunajack story, so with some tweaking, it seems it'll work out. Maybe its just my thinking, I don't know.

Aatxe360 noted that I had a lot of stories left incomplete and I agree wholeheartedly. As such, I'm hoping to wrap up those I can before moving on to starting up "Loved By The Sun" again and giving it the attention the story is worth. Given the amount of faves with it (which I really wasn't expecting), it will need to be good. The story unintentionally setup as a spiritual successor to "What The Night Remembers". The story is intended to and WILL focus on Twilestia. I simply want to carry on Applejack's and Luna's relationship in it. I'll be searching for a proofreader for the story to make sure the screw ups I miss don't make it into the published chapters. I'll also go over the first few chapters with a fine tooth comb to correct my errors.

To those who followed "Loved By The Sun", I again express my apologies for the hiatus. It will continue on shortly once my loose ends get hashed out.

Edit: On a last note, I do have two one-shots I'm currently working on. One is intended to be humorous with use of another writer's OC with tacit permission, assuming the story and part passes muster (totally understandable). The another is like a reverse HiE story and I guess my take on the ECB stories, if that makes any sense. Those are a while out yet though and will see the light of day once I can my stories under control. Now excuse me, I'm grabbing a beer.
