There are trolls I like, and trolls I don't like.
Usually this is based on how well they do or don't get along with the characters which I do like, but there are some exceptions.
If they're kind of sassy then that's always a bonus, which is why I initially thought she'd be a troll I like.
But in the end, there are just a few things which take her down a few notches on the echeladder of favouritism (obviously this is a metaphor because you can't go down an echeladder, because that would be stupid):
Firstly, she was trying to stab Roxy. This is obviously unforgiveable.

Secondly, she missed out on a great "S-------EA" pun when she threw the trident. I know that's not strictly a sea pun, but neither is "water you". Or "whale", for that matter.
So that is why Meenah is not a troll which I like. She's not irredeemable, though. There has been many a troll which I disliked, only to eventually take a shine to. Mentioning No Names Of Course. In other news, is anyone else hellapumped (that's a technical term, btw) about A6A3? I know I am. Stupid lousy end of sub-act animation getting me all hyped about the story, only to throw a massive intermission at my face. An awesome intermission nonetheless, but still.
Anyway, that's enough of me ranting about random stuff. I may or may not do this again.
I debated over whether or not to have this shown to people who watch Ponystuck. But in the end, I think you can all live with spending five seconds getting excited about notifications, being disappointed, then going back to whatever you were doing. And hey, it IS Homestuck-related, which makes it Ponystuck-related.

I don't really have an opinion on Meenah yet. She's only had a little bit of dialogue in a single conversation, and the only things she's done involved attacking Roxy. And so far, Aranea's done even less. I'm just ultra excited (I'd Feferi the hell out of that if there were anything remotely close to her text color) that we're meeting the pre-scratch ancestors, so I'll be riding that high without worrying about much else.

53564 I'm not sure about Aranea. She's basically Vriska, but without the awesomeness.
I'm prepared to give her a chance, though.
OK, I kind of regret this pre-emptive Meenah-bashing.
I'm very quickly starting to develop the opinion that Meenah is, in actuality, pretty damn awesome.
And also the opinion that Jake is pretty damn dense when he needs to be.
