The lone wolf

I heard this song on youtube and was inspired to write this.

The lone wolf howls in the night,
running through the forest,the last of his kind,
this creature knows loneliness better than any other,
he will not fear nor hide, for he knows his path,
he will stand tall and face any foe that comes near,
but alas, even though this majestic creature does not fear,
the darkness of the night draws near,
no matter how fast he runs,how bravely he fights,
the darkness draws closer,cutting his path,
the lone wolf howls in the night, for the last time in his life.
