I finally got around to posting the one-shot I've been working on. Took me forever to get to the point where I felt like I could post it without losing sleep over it. 
The story is called "Music of a Fallen Star". Let me know what you think. 
EDIT: After some fumbling with the publishing process (actually getting the story on the site), it has been reviewed and approved for your viewing pleasure. Now that I've learned the ropes (more or less), there should be less hassle later on down the road (if I decided to write another fic in a fit of spontaneity and sugar-rushes). Enjoy the story, folks!

I derped.
Apparently I didn't actually submit the story right, so I fixed that. I went back and did what I was supposed to (adding the chapter, copying and pasting the words from my WordDoc, then finally submitting the chapter for review). Now I that I know how to do this stuff, I should trip over my feet less in the future (on the off-chance I decide to post another story, assuming you all like the one I shit out). Here's hoping, yeah?
