yes, i know i dont really do much on here but oh well i guess... i am here to read primarily so :P anyway, couple things i just wanted to say/get off me chest!
so, i am a college graduate!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!! gotta say it has been bittersweet because along with college went: A. my social life B. my job and C. the most AMAZING teachers EVER! so yea... im not exactly depressed but it has been pretty tough.
secondly, as you may know, equestria girls has a trailer now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3hBtBibN_M and for some reason... it seems to have corrupted the fandom to some degree. now am i saying that in a BAD way, heck no! not entirely at least, now for me, i was indifferent to begin with, being very open minded (heck if you know me in real life or look at my favs, you would see that and see some of my fav. couples). and i am pretty excited about it now that i know that Megan McCarthy wrote the thing, so maybe it wont be so bad. i know im just adding to the clutter as it seems that EVERYONE'S videos and journals (i follow pretty much everybody so yea...) are about this topic. bashing, say "meh is ok" and so on. but one thing in particular that got me is one of my close friends said because of this he is leaving the fandom bringing me to my next topic.
one of my pet peeves is people who cause drama, now in his defense he didn't do it to cause drama it just kinda pissed me off... i HATE when (just using the brony fandom as an example because... well yea, that's the topic) people go public everywhere saying "i am LEAVING this fandom" (in his case) or some of the other over dramatic people saying "ef the fandom, how did i get tangled up with a bunch o' fags" (i kid you not... ive seen it) *sigh* and then half the time they don't even "leave" they just want attention. if your going to "leave", do it like alex s. or assertive fluttershy, don't announce it, just be remembered for your amazing work and fade into obscurity. in his case my friend didn't even make ANY content so... why the heck even say outright that your "leaving" (i keep saying "leaving" to show that... its just... i don't even know, ridiculous?!? is that the word?)
*sigh* anyway, yea... on a more upbeat note (not that anyone really reads these =3 ) but as of today i have enough monies to attend BRONYCON!!!!! HELL YES!
