Oh wow. The trailer for Equestrian girls is out! And I... Don't think it looks terrible?
I've mostly planned to see the movie either thinking it would be sooooo terrible it was hilarious, or because the staff would manage to pull it off. However, the trailer looks epic, and also like something I might well write. Granted there wouldn't be humans for the others and the setting wouldn't be some disturbing AU with human counterparts and instead would focus on the goods and bads of human nature and how a outsider viewed us, but hay, the staff has surprised us before. After all, who here would have expected to love any form of MLP?
Besides, at least it is some official pony before S4, because the wait is so annoying! I just hope it plays in a theater I have reasonable access to. And I can't get my paws on the books or comics easily, so I'm happy to have anything!
So what our your thoughts?

I saw the trailer and, um, well it just doesn't look very appealing.
I mean, kudos to Hasbro for doing what's basically a classic Fan Fiction story (ponies as human highschool girls) and extra points for having pony Twilight gate in and transform, but....
Just looking at this brought back back memories of how bad G3 was. I hope I'm wrong, I really do. But... (shudder)
Ah well. No guts, no glory, I guess. Not all experiments can go horribly right, after all.

Mnn, I'm just hoping to see some hilarious carnage with the whole turned human thing. Though I'm sure Twilight will acclimate better than Cynder has/will in LitD.
Of course Cynder is not in high school... Oh god, I have to go chase the comedy plot bunnies out of my head...
