So, I recently came up with an idea for a fic that I'm really excited about, (as in, if I don't write it I'll hate myself forever) and I need time to work on it. I'm going to start work on it once I've finished a fic that I've been writing for a while (It's nearing the end, so it isn't that long to wait)
This means that it will be unlikely that I'll make much progress on Part 9 of Friendship is Music. Don't get me wrong, I do have an idea of what will happen in the chapter so it's not a case of writer's block, just don't expect it too soon. I know it's not the worst thing in the world, there are fics out there starring Octavia and Scratch to occupy your time (I read the first chapter of Allegrezza and it's really well written, I reccomend it) and I suppose if you've already read Allegrezza and you really need something to VInyl Scratch your itch, you could read Two's Company, Three's A Crowd. It doesn't take much time to read it all so don't expect it to fulfill you for long. Or you could pick a new fic on the front page at random and give it a chance, ponies have enslaved sheep for a reason. Don't follow the herd! Fight the Manestream!
I'll be releasing a new fic soon, within a week of this post easily, probably less (my work schedule isn't too bad this week) so that should be something interesting for you all. If this new idea really grabs hold of me, I might even complete it quickly enough for me to continue the musical adventures of a certain grey earth pony and her DJ unicorn friend. The new idea is only a one-shot, so if I don't make my conversations too long-winded (as I am wont to do) it shouldn't take up too much time.
Thanking you in advance for your patience and understanding,
Earl Grey.
