Ever have a moment where you realize a project is much more ambitious than you thought? · 10:01pm May 10th, 2013
Honest question...
Well, that was my realization about Luna Looks for Love sometime around Monday afternoon. The way I'm looking at it, it's going to be at least 25 chapters, averaging around 4000 words a chapter and, with my writing speed, will probably take over a year to complete. When I started writing this story, I had no clue it would be this long or complex (Which says a lot about my thought processes).
However, I do intend to see this through to the end, if at all possible. In the meantime, however, since I like my sanity, I will also be writing one other multichapter story at a time (each in the range of five to seven chapters) alongside Luna Looks for Love, and you can expect some one-shots to be thrown into the mix, meaning Luna Looks for Love's update schedule will be on the slow side. As I said, keeping myself sane (well, as sane as I am, anyway) takes precedence over keeping my stories updated
As you probably saw, I published the second chapter of LLfL, titled "Early Success," just after this blog post, and this will be my blog post for the week.
Ha ha. Well, good luck. Hope you stay sane! Believe me, I recently took on an extremely ambitious project myself. I know I will downright piss off somepony before it's over. Luckily for you, your story is in a very different situation to mine, even if they are both overly ambitious.
