Chapter 11 coming Tomorrow · 8:33am May 10th, 2013
Curran and I have gotten the majority of chapter 11 done for Starstruck (it's flirting around 17k words), so after a final proofreading pass it should be going up for your weekend reading enjoyment.
This is big news, too. When we started writing Starstruck several months back, we actually started with the end. We wanted to make sure our minds were fresh and far from burnt out when we delivered the final act of the story, and so we could have something to build up to beforehand. Well...we're there. We bridged the gap. Starstruck is WRITTEN. While not officially done, and definitely due for some tinkering with the later chapters to ensure parity and quality, we can confidently say that we've hopped that final hurdle in this story's creation. It is a complete arc. We'll still try to speckle some action and d'aww here and there when we can, but you don't have to worry about this story disappearing anymore.
It was a bit of a harsh slog these last few months as our work has taken over our lives, yet we can officially give our solemn promise that this bad boy is going to grasp that coveted 'Complete' tag, and that our updates will be pretty much weekly now.
Also, Curran and I will be attending Everfree Northwest this July in Seattle, so if any of you guys would like to creep us out with your pony-lovin' shenanigans, that's a great place to catch us at the same time.
This is true, we will be at Everfree NW doing our best to appear like talented and respectable individuals. Vest has talent in spades, so he is in good shape at least.
