So in case you didn't realize all the pictures you see in My little Yamato are 3D models made by yours truly (apart from the Rainbow dash model seen in chapter 2) I decided one day to model the Yamato in google sketchup as i found i am rather good at it and ended up using it for the fic. So anyway today i was browsing the 3D warehouse and came across another model of the Yamato made by Sketchy@Best and i decided to compare the two
As you can see mine on the left is slightly taller and more aggressive looking as i put more detail into the bridge and guns whereas Sketchy's on the right is more accurate in terms of dimensions which is something i was never quite proud of my Yamato is too skinny :(
On a slightly related note i was thinking of doing 3D model commisions for stories on this site (Machines, buildings and objects only ATM i can't do organics yet) If your interested hit me up and i'll see what i might be able to do :P
Chapter three is coming slowly as i'm currently busy with watching my birthday present: The x-files complete set which means- 55 disks of over 200 episodes (each 40 minutes long) and both the movies Go mulderXscully!
