Today I learned that if you write a story and everyone tells you it isn't finished, you probably shouldn't be entirely and obnoxiously insistent that it is. They may well be right, in which case you'll be wrong and dumb and a big jerk and you'll end up looking like a giant moron when you have to apologize.

So! I would like to beg everyone's forgiveness for being completely and insistently wrong and kind of a jerk about it and Hexonxonx not actually being a one-shot after all. Double-dumbass on me and a mistake I will try not to repeat. I am hard (lie) at work (not lie) on chapter 2, titled "Colony". It should be out sometime the middle of next month. Probably. Maybe. The sooner I can get this thing out of my head the happier I'll be.
Hadn't read Hexonxonx until just now and I'm so glad you're giving it another pass.
Talk about leaving someone hanging. Great story.

I totally am not trolling. That would be a dick move and would not actually help clear my head of this thing. As I noted, the people who said there was more to it were right after all. Part 2 kind of imposed itself on me after Colony was stuck in my head for ages, much as part 1 was the result of lack of sleep and listening to Hexonxonx over and over for like a week, so now I'm stuck with it until I actually write it down. As I said, shooting for mid-April.
