Yes, I'm writing again. Baby steps though, nothing too insane like a chapter every few days.

    <Professional> Did Some Art

This is based off of one of the first scenes in Tempered by Flame, and should perhaps help its readers see what I have in mind when it comes to the characters' appearances.

That little bunch of squiggly lines on the bottom are an explosion spot... don't judge my art skills.

Not Many of You Will Read This

    But for those who do...

    I've been feeling... Strange.
About the writing thing. Yeah, that's right. I feel strange about my writing.
It's not that I don't like it... It's that, well, I cannot seem to get myself writing.

    Is it writer's block? No.

Is it real life issues? No.

Is it just a bad case of the meh? Maybe, but I don't think it is.

<Personal> Another Question for my Followers <Promotional> Awesome Fic Inbound! · 11:41pm Apr 30th, 2013

Okay, I have a plan as to what I'm going to do for my Bronyversery, but you guys have to answer even more of my questions! Mwhahahahahaha!!!

Seriously, tho, today's and tomorrow's question is: What is my best story I have ever done so far, and WHY?
Note the big capitalized "Why" in that. Give me a reason folks!

I mean, I know I have my personal favorites out of my fics, but I want to know what YOUR favorites are!

So go ahead, give me an answer in the comments below!

EDIT: So I read this fanfic today, and it's pretty awesome. It's called "The Replacement" and is surely a nice, snarky and might I add NEW(ish) look into the mind and life of a changeling apart from the swarm!

I highly suggest you go and CHECK IT OUT!

I DON'T KNOW!! I CAN'T DECIDE! :raritydespair:

1045365 DECIDE FOAL! There's only 40 of them! :trixieshiftright:

(Hehe, I know that feel man.)

Alright.

You Want me to do What Now?!

A comedy story with a good setup and ending.

ALL OF THEM, BECAUSE AWESOMENESS!!!!

I knew my comment spam would come in handy one day.
Without having read Shards of Hatred or Shattered Stars, each one showing high potential by word count and description alone, I have three candidates to go with.

Firstly, there's The Strings That Make No Sounds. It's as near at what I believe Octavia and Vinyl to be as it can get. The execution is particularly well done here. I couldn't get over the fact that it's extremely hard to speak clearly without hearing one's own voice, but keeping that aside, the plot structure, including the two close-to-be-rapes, somehow seemed itself balanced between Octavia's world, with the beginning and the middle where Note appears, and Vinyl's world, a world that cost Octavia her ability to hear a bit too early in whatever way.

Secondly, there's the sole Discord in your list, Stone's Embrace. 3k words short, the Luna -> Discord dialogues not only showed that the petrified god is still alive on the inside, but also gave him a living character, what isn't that easy without being able to perform actions. Whether such melancholy relates to Discord or not became a religion, but the way it happened just made it look like his chaotic side was petrified along with his body. Not completely maybe, but partly.

And last but not least, Immortal's Retribution is just the perfect embodiment of you being you. An immortal committing suicide because it all became too much over the millenia. Heck, the final end of the sun without any more reasons than it's relentless shining.

I really don't want to decide that. :unsuresweetie:

Uhg...that's a tough question....I suppose it would be a tie for me. 'The Death of an Age' and 'Granny I got a Question'

'Death of an Age' sorta just sums up one of my.....well dreams, going out last taking as many as I can with me! :rainbowdetermined2: Not to mention that I thought it was presented really well :twilightsheepish: I mean quite a few people misrepresent those kind of situations.

As for 'Granny I got a Question' that's just a matter of it being a great background for Granny Smith and some excellent (although completely head-cannon, but maybe not) lore and world building...

Then again there's also...'The Party is Over' namely for how it played with my emotions when I read it.....

And now I will ask you...what are your favorites stories out of your own work? :pinkiehappy:

I'm going to go with Wheels of Fire, Wings of Fliers. It brought me to you, and I really love your earlier, shorter work. While it may have been a bit rushed, a bit too cliche, the emotions really caught me, and that's hard for a story.

Depends.

I like the Romance of "Dashed Hopes"... before you canceled it.
I liked the idea of "Changing Flows"... before you didn't plan it out.
I liked "Equestrian Education" before you wrote one arc and stopped.
I think I see a pattern here.... :trollestia:

In all seriousness, I'd have to say that despite it's flaws, "A Change of Heart" is still one of my favorites. I'd love to see you do a rewrite on it with your current level of skill. I think with all you've learned over the past year that the resulting work would be amazing and a nice way to celebrate your one year anniversary. (Stop that ridiculous face you're making, it had it's good despite the bad. Fix it, and it could be one of your best pieces.)

Teachings Of Lost Love. It didn't go how I expected it to, and I didn't expect some of the themes like what happened to Braeburn as a kid :fluttercry:but it was still a great story.

1046209 Believe it or not, I've actually contemplated doing just that :ajsmug:
